Fraud..

A leader of a Los Angeles-based fraud ring that stole $18 million in COVID-19 aid money was extradited from Europe to the United States, where she could face more than a decade in prison.

Authorities said the money was used for down payments on luxury homes in the Tarzana area of Los Angeles, suburban Glendale and the Palm Desert and to buy luxuries ranging from gold coins and jewelry to designer handbags.

In testimony on Feb. 8 to a congressional committee, Larry D. Turner, the inspector general for the U.S. Department of Labor, estimated that at least $191 billion of the $872.5 billion in federal unemployment insurance benefits paid out during the pandemic "could have been improper payments, with a significant portion attributable to fraud.

Blah, Blah..

This information is very outdated. With that we ought to cut down some of the cost of our intelligence machinery.

Nothing brings up the democrats' policies like a war some where or creating a conflict somewhere. Ukraine, Syria, Libya, North Korea, Iran, and now China.

Optimistic..

Give yourself a chance to be happy.

* The body needs to move regularly throughout the day. Sitting for long periods of time does not help. At the very least walk briskly for an hour every day.
* Our social connections are important in terms of overall wellbeing and life satisfaction. Indeed, making time to talk, listen, share and have fun with friends and family is a habit to prioritise.
* Studies have found that having a more optimistic mindset and practising a sense of gratitude can buffer against negative emotions and increase happiness.
*  Research shows that dogs motivate their human companions to be more active and in turn, both dog and human have a shared pleasurable experience that boosts their happiness.
So be happy... Try it.  Just a thought.

Scoffing..

US officials are scoffing at Beijing’s much-anticipated Ukraine peace proposal and urging the world not to get distracted from the imminent threat of China supplying lethal weapons to Russia.
China’s 12-point “Position on the Political Settlement of the Ukraine Crisis,” published Thursday, asserts vague support for “sovereignty,” “ceasing hostilities” and “resuming peace talks,” without specific proposals on achieving those goals.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Friday that it showed China trying to draw the world’s eyes away from its support of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Do we have a peace plan for US to propose or work for it? Or our plan is the war?
 Just a thought.

Leak..

The Energy Department concluded with "low confidence" that the Covid-19 pandemic "likely" originated from a laboratory leak in Wuhan, China, according to a classified report delivered to key lawmakers on the House and Senate Intelligence committees, two sources with direct knowledge told NBC News.

Comments:

The intelligence committee is not sure /not committed, to this decision that the virus escaped from China's Lab, two years after the fact.

When President Trump said it, the Media went crazy with accusations while they new about it.

Why is it classified? and if it is, why is it leaking now?
