The Toyota Prius is the best hybrid car option for the highest potential lifespan. According to the iSeeCars study, the Prius is the longest-lasting hybrid of 10 hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs. 

The average potential lifespan for a Toyota Prius is 250,601 miles, around 5,000 more than the second-place Highlander. 

Better yet, the Prius managed to secure the sixth spot overall on the iSeeCars longevity study. The Toyota model scored above the Chevrolet Tahoe and just below the GMC Yukon XL, both gas-powered SUVs. 

That’s good news for owners who want some serious lifespan out of their eco-friendly hatchback.

Morocco pulled another surprise at the World Cup in Qatar by defeating Portugal 1-0 on Saturday. It becomes the first African nation to appear in the semifinals of the top football competition in the world.

After overcoming Spain in the last round, the African nation dreams of the possibility of appearing in a World Cup Final, if it overcomes the winner of the England-France game to be played later on Saturday.

Jogging every day is good for the mind, body, and soul. By engaging in this healthy form of physical activity, you'll give your body and brain a boost. That's why many individuals make heading out for a casual jog part of their regular fitness routine. 

As you grow older, it's critical to ensure you're taking care of your heart health. In order to do so, your regular workout routine should involve a cardio-related or aerobic activity, such as daily jogging.

The exercise guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) call for 150 minutes of low to moderate-intensity exercise per week, noting that "for sure, jogging falls into that category."

 A review of literature on dementia reduction suggests that exercising regularly is key to warding off all-cause dementia.

 Resistance training and aerobic training are some of the best options, according to the review, so jogging is a solid choice for those who hope to use exercise as a way to prevent age-related issues like dementia.  Just a "memorable" thought.

The German federal prosecutor's office said an estimated 50 people were suspected to have been part of the group called Reich Citizens movement, founded no later than November 2021, who were plotting to overthrow the government.

Earlier that year, in February 2020, a mass shooting left nine people dead at two shisha bars in the city of Hanau, near Frankfurt. Then-Chancellor Angela Merkel said the gunman had acted out of "right-wing extremist, racist motives." 

The incident was the third deadly attack attributed to right-wing suspects in the country in one year. "The members of the group follow a conglomerate of conspiracy myths consisting of narratives of the so-called Reichsbürger as well as QAnon ideology."

Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona announced that she would leave the Democratic Party and become an independent, unsettling the party divide anew just days after Democrats secured an expanded majority in the Senate.

“I have joined the growing numbers of Arizonans who reject party politics by declaring my independence from the broken partisan system in Washington.” 

Ms. Sinema, who is likely facing a Democratic re-election challenge in 2024 after angering her party by opposing key elements of its agenda, will need to maintain some ties with Democrats to keep her committee seats and other benefits, since they would still hold a majority without her. 

She has diverged with Democrats on fiscal and tax policy. She has blocked Democratic attempts to increase taxes on corporate America and Wall Street.

Freedom of speech may cause problems to some. You are allowed to sing the praises to keep the party happy.  Just a thought.

Electric vehicles could take a significant hit based on what’s happening in Switzerland.  The country is considering emergency measures in case of an electricity supply shortage this winter.
Switzerland could shorten store operating hours, lower the thermostats at buildings, and limit the private use of electric cars to “absolutely necessary journeys.”
These proposed measures serve as a reminder that electricity doesn’t magically appear at every wall outlet — and EVs don't run on fairy dust.

Traditional energy is not dead as some may think and more investment is needed until renewable energy becomes available.  Just a thought.
