Agenda..

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said that the midterm elections are a “vindication” for Democrats and their agenda after the party held onto their Senate majority for the next two years.

Schumer said “terrific” Democratic candidates, the party’s agenda and accomplishments, and the American people’s rejection of “antidemocratic extremist MAGA Republicans” led to the party holding onto its majority.

Inflation was the biggest accomplishment of this period. Just a thought.

NY..

Do Better..

Record inflation, Soaring Crime and a Border Crisis but with all that, the people didn't turn to the Republican party. One thing happens Women Rights.

Earlier, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., has introduced a bill to create a federal ban on abortions at 15 weeks in an attempt to force Republicans to adopt a partywide consensus on the issue.

The move comes as Democrats have turned abortion into a rallying cry following the Supreme Court decision in June to overturn Roe v. Wade. Polls have consistently shown that a majority of voters oppose the end of federal abortion protections. Just a thought.

Soft..

Wave..

The rapid rise of food and fuel costs was the top issue for voters, according to CNN’s nationwide exit polls. Three out of four people casting a ballot said they were unhappy with the economy. Roughly two-thirds said gas prices were causing them hardship.

Seventy percent of the voters who said inflation was their top issue voted Republican.

Roughly a quarter of the electorate identified as white evangelical or born-again Christian, according to the exit poll. The vast majority of them voted for Republican candidates.

The second most important issue for voters was abortion. But only 16 percent told pollsters they were “enthusiastic” about the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade in June. Nearly 40 percent told pollsters they were angry about the Dobbs decision.

The majority (76%) of voters who listed abortion as their top priority voted for Democrats.

Here is the Wave.  Just a thought.
