Diggeth..
Screwed..
Tone..

Look...
Gamble..
Senior Democrats tend to forget that most Americans don’t hate Trump or love abortion as much as they do. Voters care more about the cost-of-living and crime. Under Biden, inner-city violence has rocketed. So have food and gas (petrol) prices.
The Inflation Reduction Act may turn out to be one of the worst-named pieces of legislation in recent history. It did little or nothing to reduce prices and in fact introduced yet another vast bout of inflationary government spending in the short-term, while promising higher tax revenues (the hard part) down the line.
Bidenomics is no saner than Trussonomics, when you think about it, although the American economy is of course much more powerful than Britain’s.
Biden seems to have taken a gamble that inflation will come down to a non-frightening level in time for the midterms. That hasn’t paid off.
Terrified..
The Times quotes terrified-sounding Democrats around the country.
Terrified that Joe Biden will run for re-election.
Terrified that there’s no consensus for anybody else.
Most of all, terrified that if given the option, the American people will re-elect Donald Trump.
Now we know, not that we didn’t, that the one-sided “investigation” into the former president’s thoughts, words and actions on January 6 is just a desperate attempt to do what every investigation so far has utterly failed to do, which is find Donald Trump guilty of something, anything, in order to prevent the American people from having the opportunity to put him back in office.
That supposedly sure-fire political messaging weapon has failed again against Trump.
The Democrats’ problem is that every time the show ends and the news come on, Joe Biden is the president, Gas prices are high, Inflation are high, south border are a major problem and food cost, housing etc are a major problem. Just a thought.
