Condensed...
In March, the state announced it was seeking proposals to build on the site, which it called "one of the last remaining vacant parcels on the West Side of Midtown Manhattan."
The entire development team is majority-Black, including Peebles' leadership. The construction firm, the McKissack Group, is the oldest minority/women-owned design and construction company in the U.S.
In addition to the skyscraper, the project will include a new headquarters for the mid-Manhattan branch of the NAACP, two hotels, an observation deck and a skating rink, as well as commercial office space, the developers say.
The development materials make no mention of residential units, however — an omission that could run up against the preferences of Community Board 4, which has asked for affordable housing to be built there. The state acknowledged that request when it issued the RFP in March.
*The State haven't listen to the Scientists unless want to get out of a jam.
*Covid-19 cause death of more than 60,000 people in a few months and the Governor said NYC is condensed. But yet it is the State that want to do more of the same.
* A great tower to come up on the same Sewer system that was built in 1900 where a rain for four hours cause death, flood and death and massive destruction.
* Climate change that every politician declare where no action was taken as if they are blaming the common people lack of action.

High Rise...
At least 46 people were killed in a fire overnight Wednesday at a high-rise apartment building in southern Taiwan and dozens of others were injured, local officials said Thursday.
The "extremely fierce" blaze started around 3 a.m. on Thursday, engulfing the entire building in the city of Kaohsiung and destroying many floors. Witnesses said they heard an explosion around the same time.
Orange flames lit up the night sky as firefighters worked to cut down the blaze, leaving the building smoldering hours later.
NYC has so many high rise buildings, and continue to build them up for a reason. Donation to political future to catch a high paid position? May be.
Sewer system, Climate change, transportation system, roads, garages, services, parks, Hospitals, etc. are not available to serve this condense city of 9 million people in a tiny piece of land. Quality of life, Covid-19, Businesses running away but we are looking for the green. Just a thought.

Reception...
New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio faced a negative reception from New Yorkers at the Columbus Day parade on Monday.
Several crowd members yelled obscenities at the mayor as he walked down Manhattan's Fifth Avenue in the parade.
“F*** you, you piece of s***,” a man yelled at De Blasio, followed by clapping from the crowd, according to a report.
“F*** you, De Blasio. You piece of garbage ... Get out of here, you piece of s***. You’re garbage," another crowd member shouted.
“I love my New York people. I love my blue. I’m tired of the crime. I’m tired of him dividing people,” resident Suzan Miller told the New York Post. “He can go to goddamn hell.”
Show some love people. He isn't that ..... Just a thought.
