Cognitive...

Rep. Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician-turned-congressman, says he’s "terrified for our country" in the wake of President Joe Biden’s televised town hall this week — and doubts whether the commander in chief has the cognitive ability to make it through a full term.

"He’s completely LOST it!" Jackson, R-Texas, tweeted Saturday, along with a video clip in which Biden answers a reporter’s question about defunding the police by claiming that Republicans accuse him of "sucking the blood out of kids."

"Needs a cognitive exam NOW!" Jackson posted.

Biden’s performance on CNN Wednesday night, widely mocked by conservatives on social media, he made false assertions about the efficacy of COVID vaccines, talked about helping children "find out whether there’s a man on the moon or whether those aliens are here or not" and confused some in the audience with references to obscure conspiracy theories.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle expressed outrage Friday at images of National Guard members, sent from around the country to secure the Capitol, resting and sleeping in nearby parking garages.

The National Guard could cut training as soon as July unless Congress passes emergency legislation reimbursing the cost of the Capitol security mission, Army leadership told a Senate Appropriations Committee subpanel Tuesday morning.

The four-month response to the Jan. 6 riots reportedly cost more than $500 million, depleting the Guard’s operational and training funds.

Army Secretary Christine Wormuthindicated that the force has already postponed some training and could begin cancelling training events as soon as July,

As long as you are protected and just see yourself with your great effort to disqualify the opposite party, the rest is "A parking Lot Accommodation type"  Just a thought.

Bottoms...

The Norwegian women’s beach handball team has been fined for refusing to play in bikini bottoms during a game in the sport’s Euro 2021 tournament.

The team wore thigh-length elastic shorts during their bronze medal match against Spain in Bulgaria on Sunday to protest against the regulation bikini-bottom design that the sport's Norwegian federation president called “embarrassing.”

The team was fined 1,500 euros total ($1,700) for “improper clothing,”

Since the London Olympics, female players could choose to wear shorts and sleeved tops, out of respect for countries with other norms and beliefs. But most players still serve the ball in bikini bottoms. And beach volleyball is not the only sport that's drawn criticism for its briefs.

Outrages decision. Just a thought.

The Lambda...

Cases of reinfection of COVID-19 have been reported but are rare. In general, reinfection means a person was infected (got sick) once, recovered, and then later became infected again.
Based on what we know from similar viruses, some reinfections are expected.

The delta variant, which is more than two times as transmissible as the original strain of the coronavirus, now accounts for 83% of new coronavirus cases in the United States.

Delta continues to be the central concern for public health officials.
The delta variant  it's not the only variant circulating in the population.

The lambda variant, first identified in Peru, is also making headlines as it has started to be identified in several states. Houston Methodist Hospital reported its first case of the variant this week.

Scientists at the Medical University of South Carolina recently announced they had found the variant in a virus sample taken in April.

Honestly...

Not only Fox News, all sections of the Media and many of the politicians have been reporting incomplete reports directed at their own directive for no reason whatsoever.

Obviously the number who wanted to be vaccinated, rushed to the centers. Just a thought.

Report it honestly, and let each with his own doctors decide how to stay alive.

Pfizer and BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine is just 39% effective in Israel where the delta variant is the dominant strain, but still provides strong protection against severe illness and hospitalization, according to a new report from the country's Health Ministry.

The efficacy figure, which is based on an unspecified number of people between June 20 and July 17, is down from an earlier estimate of 64% two weeks ago and conflicts with data out of the U.K. that found the shot was 88% effective against symptomatic disease caused by the variant.

However, the two-dose vaccine still works very well in preventing people from getting seriously sick, demonstrating 88% effectiveness against hospitalization and 91% effectiveness against severe illness, according to the Israeli data published.

"We have to be mindful that, with time, the effectiveness of these vaccines may wane," said Dr. Isaac Bogoch, an infectious disease professor at the University of Toronto.

Every day now we getting odd news about the vaccines. Just a thought.

Mandated..not..

The Biden administration is not mandating COVID-19 vaccines for White House staff, press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday.

During the White House press briefing Thursday, Psaki suggested that every White House official had been offered a COVID-19 vaccine, but clarified Friday that the White House was not requiring officials to be vaccinated.

No, we have not mandated it," Psaki responded, after being asked whether the administration was mandating White House staff receive a coronavirus vaccine.

As for those who have not been vaccinated, Psaki maintained the public health guidance remains the same for White House officials as for other Americans.

Gaslighting...

The term “gaslighting” has become a more entrenched cultural aspect of the American lexicon since 2016. Today, most people tend to use it in terms of politics. But gaslighting is applicable to and can be found in a wide array of cultural and social aspects.

Sexual gaslighting, for instance, is readily evident in many abusive relationships and toxic sexual encounters. Recognizing sexual gaslighting is vital for psychological and sexual well-being.

Essentially, gaslighting involves the psychological manipulation of another into questioning their sense of reality, refers to it as  “mind-manipulating strategies of abusive people”  particularly effective when “rooted in social inequalities, especially gender and sexuality, and executed in power-laden intimate relationships.”

Sexual gaslighting, therefore, is the psychological and abusive manipulation of another person for the purpose of getting them to question their reality around a sexual situation
