Bill Gates’ daughter told her social media followers that the first dose of the COVID-19 “did NOT implant my genius father into my brain.”

Jennifer Gates, 24, made the joke to dispel wild conspiracy theories that the billionaire Microsoft founder was somehow using the vaccine to get inside people’s minds and track their movements, according to a report.

Jennifer Gates is a second-year medical student at New York’s Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

“I am beyond privileged to receive my first dose of mRNA to teach my cells to mount a protective immune response to this virus. As a medical student and aspiring physician, I am grateful it will give me protection and safety for my future practice,” she told her more than 357,000 Instagram followers Friday.

The seven Republican senators who joined all 50 Democrats in voting to convict former President Donald Trump of inciting the Jan. 6 riot in the Capitol are now facing heat from conservatives in their home states.

Party leaders and local GOP officials, many seeking to curry favor with the broad swath of conservative voters still loyal to Trump, have condemned the 7 lawmakers for breaking ranks with the rest of the party.

The critiques illustrate the strong hold that Trump continues to have over Republicans nationally in spite of his refusal to concede defeat.

Polling conducted after the attack on Congress last month continues to show Trump holds a sky-high approval rating among Republicans, and that about half of the GOP is primarily loyal to the ex-president himself, rather than the party.

Israel's largest healthcare provider reported a 94% drop in symptomatic COVID-19 infections among 600,000 people who received two doses of the Pfizer's vaccine in the country's biggest study to date.
"It shows unequivocally that Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine is extremely effective in the real world a week after the second dose, just as it was found to be in the clinical study," said Ran Balicer, Clalit's chief innovation officer.
He added that the data indicates the Pfizer vaccine, is even more effective two weeks or more after the second shot.
Researchers at the Weizmann Institute of Science, who have been tabulating national data, said on Sunday that a sharp decline in hospitalisation and serious illness identified earlier among the first age group to be vaccinated - aged 60 or older.
Hospitalisation and serious illness were still rising in younger groups who began vaccinations weeks later.

Lawyers...

Every time the Congress' Managers present a case against Donald Trump, they ran into a problem. They march in proud of their expertise in the law and whatever they think it is a slam dunk. Then they ran into qualified lawyers and more importantly, someone who explain the law to them.

They do realize that they aren't much deferent than the accused except of who has the power and what to do to show it.  Just a thought.

All of a sudden, they realize that whatever they had is just mostly hate.

Ahead...

Did any body changed his mind?. So all this talk by the Managers and the defense is designed to impress who?

The managers are looking for a name recognition. The lawyers are looking for what they are looking for. Just a thought

While speaking at the Ali Forney dinner -- a gala for LGBT youth -- in New York on Friday night, Maxine Waters -- one of Trump's fiercest critics on Capitol Hill -- told the crowd she was motivated to "take Trump out" .

During her acceptance speech, Waters said, “There are those who say, ‘What if we get rid of him? Then we’ve got that Vice President and he’ll be worse.’ I say knock off the first one and then go after the second one.”

Back in June, Waters encouraged supporters to harass Trump administration officials.

Donald Trump’s lawyer, Bruce Castor, who is going to lead his defense during the impeachment trial on Monday, has said that he is planning to show videos of Democrats allegedly cheering on protestors during the Black Lives Matter (BLM) rallies in 2020, to bolster his defence.

Mr. Castor, who is the former acting attorney general of Pennsylvania, said: “there’s a lot of tape of cities burning and courthouses being attacked and federal agents being assaulted by rioters in the streets, cheered on by Democrats throughout the country.”

He emphasized that many of these (videos) shot in Washington are using really the most inflammatory rhetoric possible to use but there would be no suggestion that they did “anything to incite any of the actions,” reported Fox News.

“But here, when you have the president of the United States give a speech and says that you should peacefully make your thinking known to the people in Congress, he's all of a sudden a villain,” said Mr Castor while acknowledging that he may use such videos.
