Gov. Andrew Cuomo is facing continued backlash and accusations of hypocrisy for ordering travelers from certain states to go into quarantine upon entering New York, after he once threatened legal action against a state that tried doing the same to New Yorkers.
Cuomo, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, and Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont all recently issued 14-day quarantine orders for travelers from states that have seen recent spikes in coronavirus cases. Individuals who do not quarantine and follow the restrictions would be subject to fines between $2,000 to $10,000.

Ambush...

Danbury-area police still stocked up on military gear - CTInsider.com

Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan says his officers were ambushed this weekend, when they responded to a call of a shooting near 15th Street and 26th Avenue.
Dugan said when his officers arrived early Saturday morning, they did not locate a shooting victim. Instead, they encountered people throwing glass bottles at them.
Dugan said the crowd of several hundred people blocked all four intersections and some jumped on a police car. More than 100 officers responded.
He described the situation as an ambush and said he believes the report of a shooting was a set-up to get police officers to go to that location.
Two officers were injured and one of them was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Comment:
As a result, the police is not going to respond to the areas of criminal activities at all. And if they respond, they will come with the Military's equipment that protect them and the residence.
It is a cause and effect that you don't want. Just a thought.

Cyclone...

Operation Cyclone: a declassified CIA program easily searched on ...

Following a White House briefing Tuesday morning regarding reports that Russia offered bounties to the Taliban to kill U.S. military personnel, House Democrats renewed their call for an all-Member briefing from the intelligence community – “so we’d have direct evidence and discussion from intelligence community into how credible they assess the information.”

Operation Cyclone [Wikipedia] was the code name for the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) program to arm and finance the mujahedeen (jihadists) in Afghanistan from 1979 to 1989, prior to and during the military intervention by the USSR in support of its client, the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan

The mujahedeen were also supported by Britain's MI6, who conducted separate covert actions.

If this happened or didn't you can't look at one and ignore the other.

Run...

De Blasio '20 Is Ridiculous, But Not That Ridiculous

The NYPD was tight lipped about the mayor’s protection, but when he’s in New York City, like that day in May when threw his hat into the presidential ring, he normally travels with eight to 10 officers. Five or six usually go with him out of town, and when first lady goes along she has her own security detail.

And while de Blasio 2020 paid for hizzoner’s trip, taxpayers paid for the cops. Estimates by The City, a digital news service, put the cost for travel expenses for de Blasio’s NYPD bodyguards since announcing his presidential run, before the blackout, at over $100,000.

A Freedom of Information request was filed with the NYPD, seeking all security costs associated with the campaign hotels, meals, cars logistics and overtime because the city taxpayers shouldn't be on the hook for costs associated with the mayor’s monumentally unpopular campaign.

As the mayor said, there are plenty of money.... in the wrong hand.

A couple brandished an AR-15 and a handgun at protesters marching past their mansion in an upscale St. Louis neighborhood.

The protesters were en route to Mayor Lyda Krewson's home to demand her resignation.
They had broken their way into the gated community where the McCloskeys live.

The couple stated they were on their property when they heard a loud commotion coming from the street. When the victims went to investigate the commotion, they observed a large group of subjects forcefully break an iron gate marked with “No Trespassing” and “Private Street” signs,' police said.
'Once through the gate, the victims advised the group that they were on a private street and trespassing and told them to leave. The group began yelling obscenities and threats of harm to both victims.

Where was the police?

Editorial Cartoon U.S. Seattle CHOP no police

16-year-old is dead and a 14-year-old is in critical condition in the latest of a series of shootings inside Seattle’s self-proclaimed police-free zone, known as the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (Chop).
Initially home to hundreds of protesters, in the last 10 days, four other people were shot in the area, including a 19-year-old man who was killed. The violence has left some officials seriously questioning the safety of the encampment and looking to take steps to dismantle it.

Officers said in a police blog that at about 3am on Monday, a white Jeep Cherokee SUV was reported near a Chop concrete barrier that surrounds the protest area. Several unidentified people then fired shots into the vehicle.

The message of defunding the police is being scrapped as we speak. Just a thought.
