FDA conducted an initial inspection of Guardian Pharmacy in 2016, resulting in a warning letter. The FDA subsequently received reports concerning at least 43 patients who were administered eye injections of a drug compounded by Guardian Pharmacy.

These patients reported symptoms such as vision impairment, poor night vision, and a significant reduction in visual fields.

In March 2019, The Department of Justice filed a complaint against Guardian Pharmacy, alleging that the company manufactured and distributed purportedly sterile drugs that were made under unsanitary conditions and in violation of current manufacturing practice requirements under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act.

As part of the injunction, Guardian Pharmacy and its owner are forbidden from manufacturing, processing, or distributing sterile drugs until FDA determines that the company has complied with specific measures.

In addition to operating in Texas, the company is licensed in other states including Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, and Oklahoma.

D-Day...

Heard...

Sen. Schumer talked about everything including his Ice cream, but nothing about illegal immigrant crisis. Never heard of it.

Dilemma...

The Dilemma the Dems are in as they are eying the next election. It is about the Power and not the Law. They desperately desire power over anything else. But meanwhile they talk about ideals, and how bad this and that without working to fix this or that. Elect me as your president and I'll do. Nice try. Just a thought.

Misery...

There are no safe places in Libya to take these migrants and refugees in order to remove them from the risk of conflict," Sam Turner, MSF head of mission in Libya said at a press conference.
"This is why we are urgently calling for their humanitarian evacuation".
The North African country has been mired in turmoil since longtime ruler Muammar Gaddafi was removed in 2011.
Libya is also the main conduit for African migrants and refugees trying to reach Europe, with nearly 6,000 people confined in detention centres, according to MSF.
The charity also called on EU governments to stop supporting the Libyan coastguard, which intercepts vessels transporting migrants and refugees and sends them to detention centres.

NATO started the destruction of  Libya  in 2011 and since, war raviged the country and the misery of humans continued.

Alzheimer...

A team of researchers inside Pfizer made a startling find in 2015: The company’s blockbuster rheumatoid arthritis therapy Enbrel, a powerful anti-inflammatory drug, appeared to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease by 64 percent.
The results were from an analysis of hundreds of thousands of insurance claims. Verifying that the drug would actually have that effect in people would require a costly clinical trial (80 millions Dollars) and after several years of internal discussion, Pfizer opted against further investigation and chose not to make the data public, the company confirmed.
“Enbrel could potentially safely prevent, treat and slow progression of Alzheimer’s disease,’’ said the document that was prepared for review by an internal Pfizer committee in February 2018.

The decision is based on patent protection which is close to an end.
