WW may be unable to reach their 2020 revenue target if consumers continued to aggressively shift towards using a digital-only subscription over the traditional digital + studio membership, which commands a high monthly fee,” wrote J.P. Morgan.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that he supports Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s proposal to raise billions of dollars for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority through congestion pricing.
In a joint statement, the two Democratic leaders also proposed overhauling the MTA’s management structure and raising additional revenues for the transit authority through proposed new taxes on internet and marijuana sales.
More taxes to add to more waste in every aspect of the 168 Billions budget of the State.

The House of Delegates publicly censured Harford County Delegate Mary Ann Lisanti for her use of a racial slur, which members said "brought dishonor to the entire General Assembly of Maryland.
After the vote, the Democrat said she would not resign, despite calls for her to do so by House leaders, the governor, the Legislative Black Caucus and constituents.

Lisanti told a fellow lawmaker that when he helped a candidate in Prince George's County, he was knocking on doors in a "n__- district."
"I recognize that some have rushed to judgment without information and freely jumped on the bandwagon of condemnation - likely for their own political expediency," Lisanti told reporters.

A man called for jury duty in Hawaii shouted "He is guilty! He is guilty!" outside a courtroom.
"He was trying to get out of jury duty," Attorney Jason Burks told the court. "Obviously, he took a very improper approach to it."
Maldonado had been called as a possible juror in a Honolulu misdemeanor assault trial. The court was about to begin jury selection when lawyers alerted Judge Edward Kubo that a potential juror was creating a disturbance outside.
Kubo declared a mistrial, finding the man's disturbance had affected the 44 other potential jurors, according to the judge's order.
The judge ordered Maldonado's arrest on a contempt charge and set a $10,000 cash bail. Maldonado spent the night in jail and appeared before Kubo on Wednesday morning.

Institute...
Illustrating the wide range of U.S. grievances with China, a Senate committee released a report highly critical of the Beijing-funded Confucius Institute.
Senate investigators uncovered no evidence connecting the Confucius Institute with Chinese espionage, an increasing U.S. concern that has prompted the Trump administration to step up its monitoring and enforcement efforts at American campuses.
But the investigation found that the Chinese government had provided about $158 million over the last 13 years to establish and run more than 100 Confucius Institutes in the United States, including seven in California.
The subcommittee also turned up lapses in U.S. government agencies' oversight of the programs.
Hoaxer...
Twitter announced that it is permanently suspending Jacob Wohl, a 21-year-old Internet hoaxer, following the publication of a USA TODAY article in which he boasted of using the social media platform to spread lies and disinformation.
In the article published Tuesday morning, Wohl disclosed what he claimed were his plans to create “enormous left-wing properties,” including Facebook and Twitter accounts, before the 2020 presidential election in order “to steer the left-wing votes in the primaries to what we feel are weaker candidates compared with Trump.”
Throughout the day, Twitter users had messaged the platform's CEO, Jack Dorsey, demanding that the company take action against Wohl.
In announcing the suspension Tuesday afternoon, Twitter said in a statement: “The account was suspended for multiple violations of the Twitter Rules, specifically creating and operating fake accounts.”
According to Twitter, after Wohl bragged of his intentions to violate its rules against the creation of fake or misleading accounts, the company scrutinized his activity on the platform and found he already created multiple fake accounts.

lifespan
Sleep needs vary across ages.
A night or two of less sleep every once in a while will make you feel mentally and physically fatigued, but probably won’t affect your health or performance over the long term.
Sleep deprivation becomes a real problem to health and quality of life when it becomes the rule rather than the exception.
A large sleep debt can lead to diminished mental performance and changes to your appetite that can lead to weight gain.
A varying sleep schedule undermines your body’s ability to regulate sleep effectively. Too much catch-up sleep can leave you wide awake and unable to fall asleep by the end of the weekend.
The right amount of sleep is the amount that leaves you feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, and prepared for the day ahead. Identifying the sleep duration that meets your individual needs is the first step toward a lifelong habit of healthy sleep.

Caution...
“Intel has been obtained that gang members in Long Island are looking to ‘hit’ NYPD police officers, specifically in the Brentwood/Central Islip area in order to gain street credibility,” the document reportedly said. “These members are conducting reconnaissance of [member of service] private residences.”
Law enforcement living in the areas were advised to be aware of anything out of the ordinary and to do what they can to switch up their daily habits, according to the Post.
NYPD 105th Precinct officials issued a word of caution to officers residing in the area about the “threats” as the gang members were apparently caught surveying officers’ homes, the New York Post reported Tuesday, citing an internal memo.
