The Eyes...

Image result for eye contact for an interview

An important skills to master for a job interview is maintaining appropriate eye contact. Failure to make eye contact was the top body language mistake job seekers make. People who sustain extended eye contact are more likely to be perceived as intelligent and credible.

A strong posture will not only make you look more confidence, it can also help you feel more confident and perform better in your interview.

Individuals who sit up straighter are more likely to view themselves as having strong leadership skills, whereas those with hunched postures have higher risks of feeling easily stressed.

Smiling at the beginning and end of your interview  but not as much in between  will make you seem more approachable and likable. It's all about balance.

Too much fidgeting will make you look anxious and nervous, which might cause your interviewer to question your assertiveness.

Dress up for the occasion. A simple trick is to try and match the energy or demeanor of your interviewer.

Your handshake is the first and last impression you will make in a job interview. , A strong handshake can both diminish the impact of a negative impression and make a positive interaction even better.

Incidents of sexual assault at U.S. military academies spiked nearly 50 percent during the last school year despite years of focus on the issue and declarations of zero-tolerance, according to results of a survey conducted by the Pentagon.
The number of students reporting unwanted sexual contact totaled 747 during the 2017-18 academic year compared with 507 in 2015-16.
The increase in assaults stems from more men and women at the Army's academy at West Point reporting unwanted sexual contact from men and women, more women reporting at the Air Force academy in Colorado Springs, while reporting remained stable at the Naval Academy at Annapolis.
About 12,000 students attend the Army, Navy and Air Force academies.
The #MeToo movement has encouraged some women to report sexual assault and harassment.

With Super Bowl LIII just days away, federal officials have been keeping a fixed eye on concerns of sex trafficking in the metro Atlanta area.
Authorities with Homeland Security said that 33 people have been arrested for sex trafficking during the last four days of active investigation in the Atlanta area. Four people have been recovered to date.

Atlanta is considered one of the biggest hubs of sex trafficking nationwide. And the illegal business is prominent during major sporting events, according to research.

A Belarusian model, who said she had proof that President Trump’s campaign colluded with the Kremlin during the 2016 presidential election, has now backtracked and says she made up the claims.
Anastasia Vashukevich, who spent months in a Thai jail last year for organizing sex training seminars, grabbed headlines after saying she has evidence that Russia worked with Trump’s campaign.
She asked the U.S. government to secure her freedom from the Thai lockup and grant her political asylum in exchange for recordings in which she said Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska is heard talking about interfering in the U.S. presidential elections. She reportedly worked as an escort, with Deripaska being one of her clients.
Following her deportation from Thailand earlier this month, she was detained in Russia on prostitution charges. She was later released after an investigator decided to free her without an "obligation to appear" for further proceedings.

Apple has acknowledged a flaw in its FaceTime software that allowed for brief eavesdropping - even if the recipient did not pick up.
In some cases the target iPhone could send video without the receiver's knowledge.
The company said it had developed a fix and an update would be rolled out this week.
In the meantime, Apple's status page shows it has disabled the ability for users to make group calls on FaceTime.

The flaw appears to occur when both users are running version 12.1 of Apple's mobile operating system iOS, or newer. It also affects Mac users when they are called from an iPhone.
