Hudson's Bay, the Canadian-based owner of Lord & Taylor and Saks Fifth Avenue, agreed to sell the Fifth Avenue store to WeWork for $850 million. The iconic store is located between 38th and 39th Streets and not far from Times Square.

A spokesperson for Hudson's Bay added in a statement to CNNMoney that it will be closing a total of 10 Lord & Taylor stores and reiterated that the Fifth Avenue store would not close until early 2019, once the holiday shopping season ends.

But Hudson's Bay is turning to Amazon rival Walmart (WMT) for assistance in the digital shopping arena. Walmart announced last November that Lord & Taylor will have a flagship store on Walmart.com.

The Palestinians accuse the U.S. of being unfairly biased in favor of Israel, citing a series of steps by the White House.  Friday's decision cut an additional $300 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.

The Palestinians say these steps are aimed at imposing outcomes for two of the most sensitive issues in the conflict the fate of contested Jerusalem and the plight of Palestinian refugees without negotiations.

UNRWA was established after the war in 1948 to aid the 700,000 Palestinians who fled or were forced from their homes. Today, it provides education, health care and social services to some 5 million Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, as well as Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. The agency is also a major employer in the Palestinian areas.

Image result for blasts in Syria around a base

Syrian state media said loud blasts coming from an airbase were from an explosion at an ammunitions dump caused by an electrical problem, but an official in the regional alliance backing Damascus said they were from Israeli strikes.
The state media cited a military source as saying there was no “Israeli aggression” directed at the Mezzeh airbase near Damascus, after the sound of explosions was heard across the Syrian capital.
In May, it said it attacked nearly all of Iran’s military infrastructure in Syria after Iranian forces fired rockets at Israeli-held territory for the first time in the most extensive military exchange ever between the two adversaries.
Let us give the people of Syria a chance to survive.
