Dream Big...*

“If you truly expect to realize your dreams, abandon the need for blanket approval. If conforming to everyone’s expectations is the number one goal, you have sacrificed your uniqueness, and therefore your excellence.”     Hope Solo.

With the world cup soccer next round, here is a song of someone trying to be one's own.

Am I wrong for thinking out the box from where I stay?
Am I wrong for saying that I choose another way?
I ain't trying to do what everybody else doing
Just cause everybody doing what they all do
If one thing I know, I'll fall but I'll grow
I'm walking down this road of mine, this road that I call home

Authorities in China's Xinjiang region are prohibiting parents from giving children some names with "religious background."  The restrictions are part to secularize Xinjiang, which is home to roughly 10 million Uighurs, a Turkic people who mostly follow Sunni Islam.
Top officials have said that radical thought has infiltrated the region from Central Asia, protracting a bloody, yearslong insurgency that has claimed hundreds of lives. Government has urged local governments to better assimilate their minorities into the majority Han Chinese culture.
Local officials have strongly discouraged or prohibited veils, while government-linked commentators have called for bans of Middle Eastern religious architectural styles.   Saddam," ''Arafat," Medina" and "Cairo." are on the list ".  Just a thought.

The Turkish airstrikes killed 20 members of the People's Protection Units, or YPG, in Syria, and five peshmerga fighters in Iraq. Both Kurdish forces are close U.S. allies in the war against IS. Turkey said it struck rebels taking part in the Kurdish insurgency in its southeast.
Turkish strikes were inflicted on the territory of sovereign states, bypassing their legitimate governments. We consider such actions unacceptable."
Russia is a close ally of the Syrian government, while Turkey supports the opposition. In recent months the two countries had cooperated in order to restart peace talks.
The YPG meanwhile asked the U.S.-led coalition battling IS to provide air cover over northern Syria, to protect them from Turkish and Syrian government air raids.  They all hate each other and want to kill...  Foreign powers are supplying the weapons and the Money.  Just a thought.
