Gwen Ifill

Gwen Ifill, one of the most prominent political journalists in the country, has died, according to PBS. She was 61.
When she took the helm of Washington Week in Review in 1999, Ifill became the first African-American woman to host a major political TV talk show........  Just a thought.

New Era...

Iran's two top leaders, president and supreme leader, sought to calm concerns over the future of Tehran's nuclear deal in the wake of Donald Trump's election. President said the country will remain committed and loyal to the deal, regardless of the outcome of the U.S. election.

Supreme Leader said Iran was indifferent to the result of the U.S. vote, insisting the Iranian nation was "not worried" about the future and was ready for any fallout from the U.S. election.

Trump's much publicized criticism of the nuclear deal and his campaign vows to renegotiate the terms and increase enforcement of the deal that put off the threat of Tehran developing atomic weapons has sent jitters across Iran.

"We neither mourn nor cheer because it makes no difference to us. We do not have any judgment on the election," Khamenei said. "We are also not worried."
"The Unites States is the same country and over the past 37 years any of the U.S. major parties that came to power brought us no good, while their evil was always directed toward the Iranian nation," Khamenei added.        It's all good.  Just a thought.

Fuel...!

Image result for feed your mind

“A very small percentage of the people in this world will actually experience and live today. So many will be stuck on another day, another time that traumatized them and caused them to spiritually stutter so they miss out on this day.”

“We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, and you are not your struggles.    You are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future.”

“People tend to be generous when sharing their nonsense, fear, and ignorance. And while they seem quite eager to feed you their negativity, please remember that sometimes the diet we need to be on is a spiritual and emotional one.

Be cautious with what you feed your mind and soul. Fuel yourself with positivity and let that fuel propel you into positive action.”       [Steve Maraboli.......]

Mine...?

Image result for protest trump election

Donald Trump closed the door on the Republican nomination for President by winning over 16 hopefuls. The Republican Party set a party record with over 28 million votes to date.  This can be attributed to Donald Trump.

Trump is the first candidate to have funded his campaign by himself.  His results are  impressive, and he only spent a quarter the amount of money as Democrats Clinton and Sanders.

Hillary Clinton pulled out the win over Sanders, with more delegates, a quarter came from ‘super delegates’. Her road to the Democratic nomination was far less impressive.

One might think Donald Trump's sexist statements would sway female voters away from the candidate. But roughly 53% of white women, 4% of black women and 26% of Latina women voted for Trump, CNN's exit polls revealed. So who is ....?
