A sex scandal involving Oakland police has spread to other area police departments, with the woman at the center of it claiming she had sex with two dozen current and former officers in five cities.

The woman, a Richmond resident who was not named, tells the East Bay Times that she slept with three of the 24 officers before she turned 18 last August.

She also tells that two Oakland officers provided her confidential police information, including tips on scheduled anti-prostitution stings. In addition, she says a retired Oakland police captain in his 80s paid $250 to have sex with her in a motel.

Oakland Police Chief Sean Whent stepped down and gave no reason for his resignation.

The woman, who began selling herself on the streets of Richmond at age 12 and eventually ended up in Oakland's International Boulevard, a well known sex-trafficking hub, said many officers knew she was underage.

She said the first officer she met was Oakland Police Officer. The two began a sexual relationship after he defended her from a pimp.
"They were my protectors," she said. "I didn't have a pimp at the time. It did make me feel safer, having them."                    Source: reported by AP-Oakland 6-12-2016- ABC.

Would it be a scandal if it happened in Paris?  Prosecutors, Judges, Bailiffs, Lawyers, Defendants,
Securities personnel, Jailers, Productivity loss, and lives in shame?   Just a thought.

My-Lan...*!

Open borders with Canada will reduce Medicine cost  in USA by 60%
Social Securities didn't increase in the past eight years. Inflation is around 0% in the same period. Retirees and disabled are the one who use the medicine the most supported by Medicare and Medicaid.

In the last six months, Mylan raised prices more than 20% on 24 of its products, and more than 100% on seven products, according to Wells Fargo analyst David Maris.

This year, Mylan made "a 542 % increase for ursodiol, a generic medication used to treat gallstones, a 444 percent increase in metoclopramide, used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and gastroparesis, and a 400%  increase in dicyclomine, [treat irritable bowel syndrome]. Mylan also raised the price of tolterodine by 56 percent in 2016," Maris said.

The company increased the price of Epi-Pen, its largest product, by 15 percent. The analyst noted the price increases could come at a cost to patients and impact their reputation to shareholders.

In the past year, Valeant, Turing and other pharmaceutical companies have faced scrutiny over their pricing methodology. But what did the Senate do about it?

If you need a medication, someone will quickly increase the prices by 5000%.   Just a thought.

Do Tell...*!

What do women want?
Online dating apps have been faulted for putting too much emphasis on looks alone. But finding a partner with long-term appeal, it appears that the best way for a man to attract a woman is through the gift of gab.

Researcher found men's prowess as storytellers is a big factor in their perceived status and attractiveness to the opposite sex.
For women, a man's storytelling ability factored greatly in their assessment of whether he would be a more appealing long-term match. For men, while storytelling ability in women seemed to show signs of greater intelligence, it did not translate to them being viewed a more attractive match.
So, while a man is seen as being both more powerful and attractive if he can deliver a good yarn, a woman may not have the same luxury.

That is one piece to start.... the rest is so difficult and complicated.   Just a thought.

Beach...*!

A perfect picture day on the beach. The sun is out, not too hot of a day to have the sun shines where it didn't do before. People walking, running, bicycling, with some cloths and without some cloths. Jut a wonderful day all around.

And in the spirit of Cassius Clay, this idiot decided to jump up and down threatening another. You know
"fly like butterfly and sting like a bee." It was just jumps.

Then he gave the police an urgent fake message " he is running ... " the young policeman didn't buy the hoopla.

It was a perfect and beautiful day, ....enjo it.    Just enjoy it.

Healthcare...

After she arrived in the emergency room, Soto was seen only by a nurse and a physician's assistant until she went into cardiac arrest several hours later, according to lawyer Sanford Rubenstein who filed the suit in Brooklyn Supreme Court.

Grisel Soto, 47, spent her last hours alive strapped to a gurney and prescribed anti-psychotic medication, while the lethal infection raged in her brain. The nurse mistakenly thought Soto was suffering an overdose of synthetic marijuana while she had a form of meningitis.

The husband slammed Coney Island Hospital with a lawsuit alleging that his wife was misdiagnosed as emotionally disturbed or suffering from an illegal drug reaction by "careless" and "negligent" medical staff.

“NYC Health + Hospitals is committed to patient safety and ensuring the best possible care and experience for every patient and their family. It's a new day with an entirely new leadership team at Coney Island Hospital,” said spokeswoman Jennifer Bender.

The State Health Department has cited the hospital for six violations of the federal code of patient rights involving the use of restraint and emergency room services.

Minutes of Horror

"None of the witnesses interviewed described the mother as anything but attentive to her children," The DA said, adding that the mother had "turned away for a few seconds to attend to another one of her young children," when the boy entered the enclosure.

Additionally, the zoo itself won't be facing any charges, the prosecutor said.
"The zoo did the right thing when they took immediate action to save the life of a young child," Deters' said.

Nine minutes of Horror to all including the Zoo officials who took action in such a short period of time and saved the boy.   Just a thought.

Ukraine's intelligence agency SBU said it has thwarted a plot to attack soccer's European Championships in France by arresting a Frenchman who wanted to cross from Ukraine into the European Union armed to the teeth.

The SBU followed the man since December and allowed him to purchase five machine guns, two rocket propelled grenades and other weapons before he was arrested on the border between Ukraine and Poland last month.

The SBU said he was driven by ultra-nationalist views and planned 15 attacks on bridges, railways and other pieces of infrastructure for Euro 2016 that will be held in France.

In the wake of the terrorist attacks by extremists in recent years in France and Belgium, and with the wars in Iraq, Syrian and Afghanistan fueling an almost unprecedented influx of refugees and migrants to the continent, far-right and Euroskeptic parties have made sweeping gains.

Last month, far-right politicians gained many seats in the European Parliament triggering what one prime minister called a political "earthquake" by those who want to slash the powers of the European Union or abolish it altogether.

It is political Earthquake here also in the USA.  Just a thought.

The Game...*!

Lori Conley was arrested on charges of murder and child endangering. She was arraigned in Franklin County Municipal Court and jailed, pending her release on bond. Court records don't name an attorney for her.

Police say Conley gave the baby the Benadryl to put him to sleep.

Authorities say the 43-year-old Conley was baby-sitting eight toddlers and infants at her Reynoldsburg, Ohio, home when she found Haddix Mulkey unresponsive. He died at a Columbus hospital.

An Ohio baby sitter accused of giving an 8-month-old boy a fatal dose of Benadryl has been given a $750,000 bond and told to have no contact with children and no unsupervised contact with her own children.

Police say the charges were delayed until toxicology tests confirmed the baby received a fatal dose of the over-the-counter allergy drug.

For children and adults, this over the Counter Medication is a serious drug, similar to many other Over the Counters or RX prescription medication.                       Just a thought

Border Crossings!!

A smuggling network has managed to sneak illegal immigrants from Middle Eastern terrorism hotbeds straight to the doorstep of the U.S., including helping one Afghan who authorities say was part of an attack plot in North America.

Immigration officials have identified at least a dozen Middle Eastern men smuggled into the Western Hemisphere by a Brazilian-based network that connected them with Mexicans who guided them to the U.S. border, according to internal government documents reviewed by The Washington Times.

Those smuggled included Palestinians, Pakistanis and the Afghan man who Homeland Security officials said had family ties to the Taliban and was “involved in a plot to conduct an attack in the U.S. and/or Canada.” He is in custody.

Some of the men handled by the smuggling network were nabbed before they reached the U.S., but others made it into the country. The Afghan man was part of a group of six from “special-interest countries.”
The group, guided by two Mexicans employed by the smuggling network, crawled under the border fence in Arizona before being detected by border surveillance, according to the documents, which were obtained by Rep. Duncan Hunter, California Republican.

Illegal border crossing  ... has a terrible effect on society and will consume large part of the budget.
So what America to do? And who is going to do it?    Just a thought
