Bernanke is a modest income man with many rich opponents and critics. His decisions can take the economy or an industry through the roof.

In 2004, 05, 06 big games of deception in the Housing market  took place and the outcome was terrible.

In 2008, it all came crashing down.  "Wall Street", the Banks, Financial Institutions, and the world money market collapsed. Seven Trillion Dollars evaporated, and that only was the beginning.

Housing collapsed, Financial Institutions sold to banks, and Auto Industry bankrupted.

The Dow 14000 goes down to 6000 by March, 2009, Unemployment is 10.7%, 

The world looked to US Treasury and the Federal Reserve for help.

TARP was created to help the banks, AIG was bailed for 180 Billion Dollars, Auto Industry revamped, and the Feds "Quantitative Easing" Began, three trillion dollars.

"Don't fight the Fed" is the best advise any can give.


TARP all paid back but small amount. AIG's paid with profit of 27 Billion Dollors. Unemployment down to 7.8%, Auto industry is back and the DOW is 13000 by 2012.

The last decision of the Fed is to target unemployment to 6.5% and inflate the economy 2.5%.

So there is someone working on your behalf.

The Fiscal Cliff.. Kicking the can

We all are concerned about the cliff. Higher taxes on everybody, less investment, slower economic activities and may be a recession.

To solve the problem, politicians are negociating something we don't know what.

Here is a summery of what will happen

• Housing deductions: One Trillion Dollars tax revenue goes to the Banks.
• Social Security: cost $730 Billions, goes to small business and Medicare.
• Medicare: is $770 Billions, goes to hospitals, Doctors, Nursing homes, Insurances
• Business deductions: goes to other businesses and bonuses
• Defence industries: goes to big businesses and then funnelled to small.
• Taxes on the Wealthy: The smallest out of all.

We need 420 Billion dollors down annualy out of all the above. Not hard to do.
We all are going to be ok, Rich, Middle and Poor.

The solution will cover the coming 10 years. Businesses will flourish. Then, the rest is kicking the can down further as new decisions and circumstances develop.

"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself."   Just a thought.

The price of Oil and the cause of War

Oil is the major comodity traded worldwide.  Prices reached $147/Barrell at one time and now around $85/Barrell. Countries who have it are rich.

USA, the largest consumer of 19 Million Barrels/day, took steps to reduce the consumption.

The IEA anounced that USA would be a major oil producer, exceeding Saudi Arabia, by 2020 and energy suffecient by 2035. This may happens sooner if we turned to Natural Gas.

Iran can't sell enough oil to support its economy due to the current embargo.

The Gaza rockets attack on Israel and the expected retaliation increases oil prices up    $4/B but is going back.

As the oil supply increases, and USA's utilization decreases, the Middle East will change dramatically. It will quite down the desire for war.... greatly. The oil becomes a regular, low price product with no connection to any conflict. A boring time for many.

After-The Election

The Election process is the greatest exercise of our Democracy. It gets us a great reward. 
Some may have been disappointed at the 2012 outcome... 50 Millions of them.

However we put our foot down, drawn a line in the sand.

We need and want:
Reinventing the US Economy
jobs for everyone who needs it
Strengthen the Social network for retired American citizens in living expenses and or Healthcare.

• No more war, in Afghanistan, Iraqi, Syria, or Iran.  No more killing, no more losses of young people's lives, limbs, and no more families destroyed.
• No more dependence on foreign oil. A barrel that reached $147 at one point.
• No more collapse of the economy and housing market. No more Banks playing the "now you see now you don't".
• No fiscal Cliff.
• No more US huge debt.

Not much to ask for, is isn't it?

We gave the officials three years to achieve it or we vote them out.

The impact of huracaine Sandy was beyond expectation. Powerfull, destructive wind and water. Some areas were on fire, houses washed away, electrical grid damaged, transportation stopped and hospitals flooded.  Millions are in so much trouble.         

We looked to the government for immediate relief.

Food to the hungry, water to the thirsty, shelter to those without, cloths to the needy, hospital to the sick, and home visit to the elderly. 

³⁵ For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, ³⁶ I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me." 

Big Government or not .. pay your fair share, and donate some extra to the relief efforts. You and your loved ones are lucky.... survived.

*"Tax reduction 20%" across the board?!!! a 5 trillion Dollars hole. This is not for you, the little people or the 47%.
*Healthcare: abolish the affordable act, and create a new healthcare for private healthcare Insurances to compete.
*Medicare: Vouchers, current senior may not be impacted!!!?
*Banks regulations to be reduced, lower burden on the financial institutions, back to laverage of 40 to 1.
*Women's health is controlled by electd officials, not the Supreme Court.
*Iran must not have "Weapons of Mass destruction". Memories of Iraqu's story.
Sound familiar to "Bush the second". Same talk, same idea, and same view. Watch for the outcome.
*Create 12 million jobs.

In 2008, US government had to gaurantee the money market, Fannie and Freddie, AIG, the big banks, and the auto industries. With that, lehman Brothers, Country Wide, Merrill Lynch, Washington Mutual, others evaporated, and the worse housing bubble ever. A loss of five Trillion dollars.

You may not have realized the financial collapse then but it did happen and would have wiped everyone out and I mean everyone around the globe. As the fed chairman said "By Monday we would not have an Economy...!!!!"

The Invisible...!

The Good Samaritan theory established more than 2000 years ago.

Adam Smith published his theory of economics "the invisible hand" in 1776. A free market where you buy what you want and others manufacture what they want the way they like. This will help the society where all benefit.

To avoid having extra supply in one location, roads, trucks, railroads, ...etc. were built.

Now the demand on potatos equal the supply in Idaho as well as in New York. More profit to the grower and to the market.

In the process, a new class of people fell off the wagon, and landed in the bottom of the society. The society and the individuals have responsibilities towards the less fortunate.

We all watched and enjoyed the 2012 London Olympics. Young people pushing themselves in training, exercises for years to appear for few minutes. Hard work no doubt.

Nothing happens without hard work. But nothing can stop someone from achieving the goal if they decided to.

The best Golf player in the world, in a white dominant competition, is a young man with an African American father and an Asian Mother.

Advanced diseases treated at the emergency room cost thousands fold the cost of just visiting a physician before it got so complicated.

More people will be insured, less would be treated on someone's else expenses. The overall is healthy nation and lower healthcare cost.     In addition Less Fraud on Medicare and Medicaid.

The economic pie will be modified with prices of  services and many items will have to adjust.

The Republican machines name it "Obama Care".  Rush  who wanted Pres. Obama to fail, is fleeing to ...... ?  Canada has a single payer system!!!!!!

The Facebook IPO was introduced recently at $38 a Share. The price is expected to double the first few days. The 500 million shares were sold  but most can't be re sold before 3 months.

As the shares started selling, a realization that the prices are not getting off the ground. So the under writers tried to hold the prices at the $38 level.... reduce the available shares, the computers were down for few hours.
As a result, those who ordered  thousands of shares, to sell in few minutes later, couldn't find out if they are long or short and what profit or loss they accrued.
Now many are suing to recope the losses and many will get money back.

What a clean honest operation that lead to someone making windfall on the back of those who thought the system is fair.

The fair value today of FB , according to me, is $15/share.. so go figure.

Please note free market rely on Demand and Supply. Some may be able to influence the balance at least for a short period of time, enough for you to loose your Penguin.

Who Done this murder?

A two year old called 911 "mam has a boo boo". The police arrived. A bloody seen with a pregnant woman is dead.  The child was found at home, cleaned from all the blood.

Who is that hart less person to kill a young woman, but soft hearted to clean the child before leaving the seen. Dilemma Dilemma. There is hair in the hands of the murdered lady and foot prints of a shoe size 10.


The woman told her sister earlier that her husband asked her to abort her first child but she refused. That is the 2 year old child at the time.

She told a Psychology Nurse that she had bad sexual experience before during which she was forced. Her experience with her husband was basically close to being forced every time they had sexual relation.

Her mother said that the husband while driving the car with his wife in the car, drove off the road and fell in the water. Few days later, the wife lost her pregnancy. Second pregnancy, and now she was pregnant again.

Oh, one more thing, the husband was in a business trip 3 hours away from the seen of the crime. He stayed in the Hotel and their are videos showing he was there.

He was prosecuted for the crime once, and now it is his second trial. He wear size 12, the hair found in the seen does not match his.

The police check his car, his hotel room, took pictures of his naked body with no evidence what soever.

The husband was cheating on his wife while in his business trips.

So who Done it???

The EU economic crisis 2011

The EU has so many problems. With the Economic collapse of the 2008, the various economies are trying to get a strong economic growth. This has been very elusive.

The WTO opened the whole world widely for all countries with good plans to build there own economies. China, India and the BRIC countries are doing well.  This is combined with social media which helped the fast moving information in all aspects.

All Countries that didn't participate in the Housing systems are doing great, Canada.

The United States economy started to pick up speed. From monthly loss of 800, 000 Jobs into 100,000 Jobs plus per month. 800 Billion Dollars TARP, 50 Billion Dollars assistance to the auto industry, bankruptcy and recovery, and 2 consecutive Federal Reserve Quantitative easing helped the economy so much. The unemployment went down from 10.6% to 8.5%.

Many of the countries in the EU will stand together to support the existence of the EU. Although many countries have been downgraded one notch, it may not have that much impact.

Greece will drop out of the EU for a while, yet will be supported by the EU, China, and USA. After all the economies are connected.

Casey Anthony faced the death Penalty for murdering her child. She never indicated who is the father, yet tried to convince another guy that he is.

Many people have been on the witness stand. The mother, the father, brother, friends of Casey etc. The most important was the utility person who found the body.

The court couldn't get a straight story from any one witness in this case. Everybody gave a story that makes him look good. Self centered Mother, boyfriend of the accusers .....A father who was a police officer before, had many pets who died, what appears to be prematurely.

Even those who came to witness the process couldn't set quietly. A young woman shouted "she killed her baby". Another young man made a rude gesture to the prosecutor. The trial stopped. The man, had no job, ended up in jail for 6 days and a fine.

The defense managed to bring up the lack of evidence, and fake stories of the various witnesses. So she is acquitted but the saga continues. She will bring her own problems sooner or later.

The successful defense team of Baez and Mason are the real stars of this dilemma. While every body is mad at them for doing a good job, they went to celebrate an unusual success. Here is Mason who worked for free in this case, repeating what the young man gestured earlier. That perhaps was the tipping point...

The Wages of Hate-Ben Laden

The Wages of  Sin....

On September 11, 2001 a group of Ben Laden's followers attacked the World Trade Center. Many people died.

In response, USA sent few well trained soldiers to Afghanistan to support the anti Taliban forces with air-power. Soon, the Taliban forces collapsed and everybody who is still alive fled. Thousands died as a result.

The Predator spots the target from far away.  The militant hears the thunder noise of an approaching rockets but had no time to run. It leaves death, destruction and a void in the ground where a house once stood. 

Ben Ladin fled from one location to another, all through the difficult terrain, to avoid being captured. In the process, he managed to stay away from his family, friend and followers, imprisoning himself for years.

 

In 2011, "Then there were thundering sound, ..... heavy firing ... more thundering, then a big blast". That was it. The prisoner was killed joining many of his followers.

Herman Cain, a former Pizza chain executive, is another "Pizza man", a rising star in the Republican hopefuls for the presidency of the United States of America. He introduced the 999 tax plan which was very attractive for a while.

Soon enough few women came out of nowhere accusing him of unwanted sexual harassment. We all want to know what did he do to the accusers, a juicy story.

Then Ginger White came out to indicate that she had a relationship with him, on and off, for over 10 years. [This wasn't a one night thing repeated monthly.] So here ya go. He is no longer running.

What is it with men who always need recognition by another woman?
And what gets us uncomfortable with any mention of a such a story or a relationship?

The hopes of the presidency evaporated, and the hopes of thousands who looked up to him did the same. Yet the good time, and memories will last forever!!!!!

The Iowa Fight

Today the Iowa republicans made their voice heard, Loud and Clear.

Many of the presidential hopefuls didn't do well in the first and small Republican election. Others did terrible.
From listening to some of the speeches, there were one theme clear, "I can beat Obama".
Huntsman, Buchman, Perry, Newt were all down and seem out.
Ron Paul wants to Eliminate the Federal Reserve, fold back and withdraw the American forces from all over the world, and many other suggestions that is not popular, so he is out.

Santorum was the surprise, did very well against all, but many expect him not to be the nominee.

While Romney appears to be the front runner he has problem. First he didn't do much better this year than 4 years ago. Second he worked for a financial Institution which restructured many companies with thousands of jobs lost. Third he created health care, Obama care, coverage in Massachusetts. Last he is not supported by many of the republican base.

I am still waiting for a Plan other than eliminate Obama care, Medicare and Medicaid.

Japan's Earthquake-... 2011



Japan's Earthquake-Tsunami-Nuclear Plant

Earlier in the Year 2011, Japan was hit with an earthquake of 8.9 degree on the scale.

As difficult as this was, the earth-shaking quake resulted in killer 30 Feet high Tsunami. That followed by the after shocks earthquakes that reached 6 magnitude.

If that was not bad enough, the Earthquake, and the Tsunami had impacted the Nuclear Reactors in the region  causing serious damages and leaks of some radiation. 

This is the first time in history the three disastress followed each other in a quick successions.

Yet in less than a year, it appears that the will power of the people of Japan overcomed this great tragedy and moves on to repair their lives.

People and government around the globe, provided their financial assistance and expertise, to help the people of Japan and support the families that lost loved one.

That is what humanities should be focused upon. In helping each we helping ourselves and our children,

So let us learn the liston. Mother Nature can be too strong, too tough, and too serious. When we all stand together, we all will be standing together for a better future for all.
