Democrats have a new plan to win over voters in November. Instead of letting taxpayers keep the money they're getting from Trump's tax cuts, they want government to spend $1 trillion of it on [wasteful] government projects.

Macron's office said the two presidents spoke by phone after Trump's administration announced the decision to impose 25 percent tariffs on steel and 10 percent tariffs on aluminum.

The European Union is planning retaliatory tariffs on U.S. steel and food goods in the coming weeks, once it calculates the exact cost to European Union companies of the U.S. tariffs.  

The EU's trade chief, Cecilia Malmstrom, said  the move to impose tariffs "is further weakening the Trans-Atlantic relations."   "will cause a lot of damage to our steel and aluminum industry" and risk hurting global economic growth.

The Wolfsburg-based company is calling for dialogue between the U.S. and the EU within recognized World Trade Organization principles "in order to prevent any long-term economic damage."

Two lions, two tigers and a jaguar escaped their enclosures after storms destroyed fences, according to local media. The big cats were later recaptured after being found by a drone, it was reported. 

Residents in the town of Luenebach, Germany, near the border with Luxembourg and Belgium, had been warned to stay indoors and keep their doors and windows closed.

Wildlife lovers said the case showed wild animals should not be kept in cages. “An innocent animal [Bear] was shot because the zoo clearly couldn’t keep the animals safely in captivity.” 
That was a nightmare for the neighbors.

Young Americans have quickly become wary of marriage.  Economists and sociologists argue that this is about men’s low wages.

Another hypothesis blames the decline of marriage on men’s fear of commitment. Maybe they just perceive marriage as a bad deal.  They eventually want to fall in love and have children, when their independence becomes less valuable to them.  

For American men, sex has become rather cheap. Many women expect little in return for sex, in terms of time, attention, commitment or fidelity. Men, in turn, do not feel compelled to supply these goods as they once did. It is the new sexual norm for Americans, men and women alike, of every age.

This transformation was driven by Its widespread adoption of birth control. This  boosted their educational and economic fortunes and reduced their dependence on men. As the risk of pregnancy radically declined, sex shed many of the social and personal costs that once encouraged women to wait.
