Sorry..

Liberal Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor issued an unusual apology Wednesday for critical remarks she made about the upbringing of one of her conservative colleagues, Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“At a recent appearance at the University of Kansas School of Law, I referred to a disagreement with one of my colleagues in a prior case, but I made remarks that were inappropriate," Sotomayor said in a statement issued by the court. "I regret my hurtful comments. I have apologized to my colleague.”

Kavanaugh was in the majority, while Sotomayor dissented. The court has a 6-3 conservative majority.

Without mentioning him by name, Sotomayor on April 7 referenced Kavanaugh’s opinion, which sought to explain why he joined the majority, according to a Bloomberg Law report.

She then added, Bloomberg Law reported: “This is from a man whose parents were professionals. And probably doesn’t really know any person who works by the hour.”

Kavanaugh, who is white, grew up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington D.C., while Sotomayor, the first Latina to serve on the court, whose parents were from Puerto Rico, spent her childhood in a public housing project in the Bronx, New York City.

Jump..

At the March 11, 2026, Politico New York Agenda Albany Summit, Hochul said New York needs high-net-worth residents to help support generous social programs. She also said people should go to Palm Beach and see who they can bring back home.

Kathy Hochul is also facing renewed attention over something she said in 2022. During the 2022 campaign, Hochul said Republicans tied to ‘the era of Trump’ should ‘jump on a bus’ to Florida, a line critic are resurfacing now.

That line is being replayed now because her tone has changed. Back then, the message was combative. Now, it is practical, with Hochul openly talking in public today about bringing wealthy New Yorkers back to strengthen the state’s tax base.

Palm Beach is not just a sunny punch line in this story. It stands in for a bigger migration trend, with wealthy Northeastern residents often linked to moves into Florida during and after the pandemic years. That matters because Florida has no personal income tax.

Swal-Well

Political strategist Mike Madrid told CNN that the Democratic Party is having a “come to Jesus's moment” following Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) being hit with sexual misconduct allegations.

Madrid joined CNN’s Laura Coates noted that the accusations against Swalwell which he is denying, throw a major twist into California’s gubernatorial race where polls show Swalwell was a frontrunner for Democrats. She referenced a Politico poll showing Swalwell pulling 11%, with only Tom Steyer scoring more among Democrats.

Swalwell was a frontrunner thanks to President Donald Trump painting him as a “leader of Trump resistance.” Swalwell has been accused of sexually assaulting staffers. One former staffer alleged the congressman raped her.

Eric Swalwell, the fiercest face of the Democratic resistance, was raised by Republicans in Dublin, California.

When asked later how he came to the other side, Eric said it wasn’t hard: “Democrats just had the better ideas.”

Summer..

The Trump administration will temporarily lift summer gasoline regulations as prices at the pump near $4 a gallon amid the Iran war.

The emergency fuel waiver allows refiners and retailers to sell E15 gasoline, which is blended with 15% ethanol, over the summer, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced Wednesday.

Restrictions on selling E10 gasoline, which contains 10% ethanol, will also be temporarily lifted, according to the agency. Normally, federal rules require a switch to more costly summer blends from June 1 through Sept. 15 because gas with higher ethanol content can evaporate more easily in hot weather, contributing to air pollution.

EPA is working with our federal partners to reduce unnecessary costs and uncertainty and ensure that gas prices remain affordable for all Americans through the summer," EPA Administrator Zeldin said in the statement. "This emergency action will provide American families with relief by increasing fuel supply and consumer choice."

Comment:

The Dems, for four years, run all the stories of confidence, greatness, and ... about the Biden Administration, while the boarders were crossed illegally, the laws are broken, inflation skyrocketing by 10%, food shortage worldwide as a result of expanding sanctions on Russia and Russia oil.

Now the Dems, forgetting all, and trying to discredit and oppose everything with this current administration.   Just a thought.

Shingles-Sildenafil- Argenine..

Seeds and nuts are high in arginine.

Studies have shown that people who receive the shingles vaccine are 20% less likely to develop dementia and Alzheimer's disease over a seven-year period.

  • Researchers believe the vaccine may protect against Alzheimer's by preventing the reactivation of the herpes zoster virus, which is thought to trigger brain inflammation and subsequent tau/amyloid buildup, or through its immune-boosting components.
  • *A real-world patient data has linked sildenafil use to a 30% to 54% reduction in the incidence of Alzheimer's disease, particularly in studies using large, insurance-claims databases.
    • *Arginine appears to act as a "chemical chaperone," reducing the aggregation (clumping) of toxic proteins that lead to plaque formation.
    • Research indicates that arginine, a naturally occurring, affordable amino acid, also reduced neuroinflammation and improved cognitive performance in mice, potentially correcting brain inflammation-associated damage.
While these findings are promising, experts stress that these studies are largely observational, based on animal models, or in early stages, and that further, large-scale clinical trials are needed to prove effectiveness in humans.
