Supply..
On the eastern front, Ukrainian troops are facing a relentless barrage from Russian drones and a “critical shortage of personnel.”
To counter the unmanned aircraft, soldiers have developed a surprisingly effective low-tech solution: stringing up simple fishing nets to catch the drones.
-However, this ingenuity highlights a deeper crisis.
A Ukrainian commander reports not receiving replacements for eight months, being severely outnumbered, and suffering from extreme fatigue.
This desperate situation on the ground is compounded by what he calls a failure to communicate the true difficulty of the war up the chain of command.
In a long segment aired by CNN, a Ukrainian commander told the U.S. news network that he had not received replacements for his unit for eight months. At the moment, he told CNN, he was only resupplying frontline positions, and even there his troops are outnumbered.

Boom..
Bank of America (BofA) suggests the US economy is moving away from the threat of stagflation and potentially towards a "cyclical boom".
This shift is supported by factors like potential growth from Donald Trump's policies, increased AI investment, and a positive outlook for capital expenditures.
"Regime Indicator" is also signaling a move from "Downturn" to "Recovery," historically associated with a rally in value stocks.
BofA analysts believe the US has avoided the worst-case scenario of stagflation (high inflation and slow growth).
The bank's strategists now suggest the possibility of a "boom" rather than just a cyclical recovery.
Just a "Booming" thought.

Poll..
A new survey, by Wall Street Journal , conducted by Democratic pollster John Anzalone and Republican pollster Tony Fabrizio, found Democrats’ popularity at its lowest point in three decades of WSJ polling, with 63 percent of voters holding an unfavorable view of the party.
Only 33 percent of voters hold a favorable view of Democrats, with a meager 8 percent holding a “very favorable” opinion, for a net negative favorability of 30 percentage points
While voters still have significant concerns over the president’s and the Republican Party’s handling of the economy, inflation, tariffs and foreign policy, the majority of respondents nonetheless say they trust Republicans more to handle those issues in Congress.
Despite criticism of handling of inflation — the Republican Party, by 10 points, is trusted more than Democrats to deal with inflation.
