Integrity..

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem today announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status for Haiti. The TPS designation for the country expires on Aug. 3, 2025, and the termination will be effective on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

At least 60 days before a TPS designation expires, the Secretary, after consultation with appropriate U.S. government agencies, is required to review the conditions in a country designated for TPS to determine whether the conditions supporting the designation continue to be met, and if so, how long to extend the designation.

“This decision restores integrity in our immigration system and ensures that Temporary Protective Status is actually temporary,” said a DHS spokesperson. “The environmental situation in Haiti has improved enough that it is safe for Haitian citizens to return home. We encourage these individuals to take advantage of the Department’s resources in returning to Haiti, which can be arranged through the CBP Home app. Haitian nationals may pursue lawful status through other immigration benefit requests, if eligible.”

After conferring with interagency partners, Secretary Noem determined that conditions in Haiti no longer meet the TPS statutory requirements.

Panic..

Senator Bernie Sanders, a Vermont independent who caucuses with the Democratic Party, warned that establishment lawmakers are "in panic" over Assemblyman and New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani's primary win on Tuesday.

Mamdani's triumph, built on promises like free city bus rides, free childcare, and city-owned grocery stores, has magnified internal rifts within the Democratic Party.

The assemblyman's win could trigger panic buttons for senators like Chuck Schumer of New York and other Democratic establishment leaders alike, as some pollsters argue that Ocasio-Cortez could potentially challenge Schumer's Senate seat.   Just a thought.

Who is..

Representative Laura Gillen represents a competitive Long Island district in the House and has been among the more critical Democratic voices on Mamdani. In a statement, she described him as the "absolute wrong choice for New York.  Socialist Zohran Mamdani is too extreme to lead New York City.

His entire campaign has been built on unachievable promises and higher taxes, which is the last thing New York needs," she wrote.

"Beyond that, Mr. Mamdani has called to defund the police and has demonstrated a deeply disturbing pattern of unacceptable antisemitic comments which stoke hate at a time when antisemitism is skyrocketing."

Comment:

Does Mamdani represents the Democratic Party? is he looking to improve New York Economy or looking to see business and people fleeing the area.   Just a thought.

Over-Blown .

Fraudulent..

A federal grand jury in Brooklyn returned a second superseding indictment that added charges against former Deputy Chief of Staff Linda Sun and her husband and co-defendant, Chris Hu, related to a fraudulent scheme involving the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) by the New York State (NYS) government at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of the scheme, Sun steered contracts to vendors with whom she had undisclosed personal connections. She and Hu received millions of dollars from the vendors, including some in the form of kickbacks, which Sun did not disclose to the NYS government.

Additionally, Hu is charged with tax evasion.

Ogles..

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tennessee) said that New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani should be deported and denaturalized.
“Zohran ‘little Muhammad’ Mamdani is an antisemitic, socialist, communist who will destroy the great City of New York,” wrote Ogles in a post to social media.
According to public reports, including a June 21, 2025, New York Post article, Mr. Mamdani expressed open solidarity with individuals convicted of terrorism-related offenses prior to becoming a U.S. citizen. Specifically, he rapped: ‘Free the Holy Land Five / My guys,’” said the letter.
The Holy Land Foundation is a Muslim charity based in the U.S. Five members of the foundation were convicted of funneling money to Hamas in 2008.

Move..

The Zohran Mamdani's surprise victory at New York City's Democratic mayoral primary last week has stunned the metropolis's wealthy buyers, and some are now looking to buy properties in other, more favorable locations—especially in Florida.

For many wealthy buyers looking into relocating from New York City to Florida, the idea of leaving the Big Apple is more than a Plan B in case Mamdani wins the mayoral election later this year. It is a strategic investment they are doing right now.

Deputy Dustin Byers with the 4th District recently stopped a driver for speeding on Highway 21.

The man explained he was on his way to a funeral and was having a tough day. To top it off, he couldn’t get his tie right.

Without hesitation, Deputy Byers helped him out…not just with the knot, but with a moment of kindness he won’t forget. REMINDER: compassion still exists, even on the side of the road.”

Balloons..

SIX Americans have been detained for allegedly trying to float more than 1,600 bottles stuffed with rice, tiny Bibles, dollar bills, and USB drives to North Korea.

South Korean police say the group was caught before they could launch the bottles into the water.

Authorities said the bottles were meant to drift across the sea and wash ashore in North Korea.

The group is now under investigation for possibly violating safety and disaster management laws, per The Associated Press.

Balloons and bottles have often been used to carry leaflets, money and entertainment media, including South Korean dramas and K-pop.

In 2024, the regime launched its own wave of balloons into the South — filled with trash.

Some of that garbage even landed at the South Korean presidential office.
