Rebels..

President-elect Donald Trump said Saturday that the United States should avoid engaging militarily in Syria  declaring in a social media post, “THIS IS NOT OUR FIGHT.”
The Biden administration also has said it is not backing the offensive and has not suggested the U.S. military will intervene. The U.S. has about 900 troops in the opposition-held northeast of Syria, working with Syrian Kurdish allies to prevent any resurgence of the Islamic State extremist group.
Syrian opposition activists and regional officials have nonetheless been watching closely for any indication from both the Biden administration and the incoming Trump administration on how the U.S. would handle the sudden rebel advances against Assad.
So why are we in Syria?
 Just a thought.

Rebel..

Syrian rebels celebrated the overthrow of President Bashar al-Assad, experts warn that the coalition's leading group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), seeks to impose a strict Islamist regime.

HTS, a U.S.-designated terrorist group with historic ties to Al-Qaeda, led the decisive assault on Damascus that ended more than 50 years of Assad family rule. The victory raises questions about the future of Syria, as the group envisions a government rooted in Islamist ideology.

"HTS is a group that is an outgrowth of Al-Qaeda and has connections to Turkey. Their endgame is to create a Taliban-esque society with a few tweaks," Phillip Smyth, an expert on proxy groups to the Iranian regime, told Fox News.

Creating chaos all around the Middle East.

Time..

Donald Trump has called on Ukraine and Russia to "stop the madness" in a social media post on Sunday. He urged Vladimir Putin to take action, insisting that a settlement should be reached.
The President-elect posted on his platform, Truth Social: "Zelenskyy and Ukraine would like to make a deal and stop the madness. They have ridiculously lost 400,000 soldiers and many more civilians."
"There should be an immediate ceasefire, and negotiations should begin. Too many lives are being so needlessly wasted, too many families destroyed, and if it keeps going, it can turn into something much bigger and far worse."
So much loss in lives and Biden's administration just keep providing more weapons?

Solution..

War..

Golani..

Abu Mohammed al-Golani, a former al-Qaida commander who cut ties with the group years ago and says he embraces pluralism and religious tolerance, leads the biggest rebel faction and is poised to chart the country’s future.

In his first public appearance since fighters entered the Damascus suburbs Saturday, al-Golani visited the sprawling Umayyad Mosque and called Assad’s fall “a victory to the Islamic nation.” Calling himself by his given name, Ahmad al-Sharaa, and not his nom de guerre, he told hundreds of people that Assad had made Syria “a farm for Iran’s greed.”

The rebels face the daunting task of healing bitter divisions in a country ravaged by war and still split among armed factions. Turkey-backed opposition fighters are battling U.S.-allied Kurdish forces in the north, and the Islamic State group is still active in some remote areas.

Who are we helping over there?
