Biden invites Trump to work together to lobby Congress on an immigration bill as both candidates visit border.

The president also criticized congressional Republicans, saying they needed to “show a little spine” and take up a bipartisan border agreement in the Senate.

Earlier-Over his first 100 days, Biden signed 42 executive orders, more than any of his predecessors since Harry Truman. Many of these executive orders were reversals to Donald Trump's policies.

Then he tried to reverse his reversal.  Just a thought.

Shuttle..

China is making a new push to end the Russia-Ukraine war by launching new shuttle diplomacy.

The new effort to mediate the ongoing conflict in Ukraine involves China's special envoy for Eurasian affairs, Li Hui, embarking on a "shuttle diplomacy tour" aimed at fostering a peaceful resolution.

"China stands ready to continue to play its role and contribute China's wisdom to seeking a political settlement of the Ukraine crisis."

China hasn't officially backed Russia's war in Ukraine, but Beijing has provided financial assistance to Moscow as the war drags on.

China has endeavored to present itself as a neutral party seeking peace, despite facing criticism for its close relationship with Moscow and its refusal to denounce Russia's military actions. The European Union has explicitly cautioned China against supporting Russia's war efforts or contravening sanctions.

Hope the US do the same.  Just a thought.

Give up..

The United Nations’ highest court on Monday wrapped up historic proceedings into the legality of Israel’s 57-year occupation of lands sought by Palestinians for a future state, with most voices at the hearing arguing against the Israeli government.

Over six days, the International Court of Justice heard from an unprecedented number of countries and the majority argued Israel was violating international law and called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
“The real obstacle to peace is obvious — the deepening occupation by Israel of the Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem, and failure to implement the two-state vision, Israel and Palestine living side by side,” Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Yildiz said.    Biden is very quiet for some time.  Just a thoght.

Interest..

Four foreign nationals were charged Thursday with transporting suspected Iranian -made weapons after U.S. naval forces interdicted a vessel in the Arabian Sea last month. Two Navy SEALs died during the mission
The flow of missiles and other advanced weaponry from Iran to Houthi rebel forces in Yemen threatens the people and interests of America and our partners in the region,” Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said in a news release.
“Two Navy SEALs tragically lost their lives in the operation that thwarted the defendants charged today from allegedly smuggling Iranian-made weapons that the Houthis could have used to target American forces and threaten freedom of navigation and a vital artery for commerce,”
We Just bombing poor countries for America's Interest and what was that? How much it cost to kill few innocent poor people?  Just a thought.

High Ground..

On 12 December 2023 at 3.02am, an Israeli strike directly hit two houses belonging to the Harb family in Al-Zuhour neighbourhood in Rafah, killing 25 civilians, including 10 children, nine men and six women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. At least 17 others were wounded.

UN chief António Guterres denounces Israel for the 'heartbreaking' deaths of Palestinian civilians in Gaza. The Palestinian death toll in Israel's assault on Gaza has surpassed 25,000, according to the Ministry of Health in the territory. Are we creating new monster?

New..

Would the Democratic Party find a new person instead of Biden?  Just a thought.

Sweep..

Donald Trump won South Carolina’s Republican primary on Saturday, easily beating former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley in her home state and further consolidating his path to a third straight GOP nomination.

Trump has now swept every contest that counted for Republican delegates, adding to previous wins in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Haley is facing growing pressure to leave the race but says she’s not going anywhere despite losing the state where she was governor from 2011 to 2017.

A 2020 rematch between Trump and President Joe Biden is becoming increasingly inevitable. Haley has vowed to stay in the race through at least the batch of primaries on March 5, known as Super Tuesday, but was unable to dent Trump’s momentum in her home state despite holding far more campaign events and arguing that the indictments against Trump will hamstring him against Biden... NATO chief..

The NATO military alliance has joined calls for a “humanitarian pause” in the Israel-Hamas conflict to allow critical aid to get into Gaza.
Jens Stoltenberg, the alliance’s secretary-general, told reporters on Thursday that they are supporting diplomatic efforts for a humanitarian cease-fire.
“International law must be respected, civilians must be protected, and NATO allies support a humanitarian pause to allow aid to reach Gaza,” he said in Berlin ahead of a bilateral meeting with Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
“The suffering we have seen in recent weeks reminds us once again that we must not give up work for a lasting, peaceful, political solution,” Stoltenberg said.
Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7
