Interest..

Four foreign nationals were charged Thursday with transporting suspected Iranian -made weapons after U.S. naval forces interdicted a vessel in the Arabian Sea last month. Two Navy SEALs died during the mission
The flow of missiles and other advanced weaponry from Iran to Houthi rebel forces in Yemen threatens the people and interests of America and our partners in the region,” Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said in a news release.
“Two Navy SEALs tragically lost their lives in the operation that thwarted the defendants charged today from allegedly smuggling Iranian-made weapons that the Houthis could have used to target American forces and threaten freedom of navigation and a vital artery for commerce,”
We Just bombing poor countries for America's Interest and what was that? How much it cost to kill few innocent poor people?  Just a thought.

High Ground..

On 12 December 2023 at 3.02am, an Israeli strike directly hit two houses belonging to the Harb family in Al-Zuhour neighbourhood in Rafah, killing 25 civilians, including 10 children, nine men and six women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. At least 17 others were wounded.

UN chief António Guterres denounces Israel for the 'heartbreaking' deaths of Palestinian civilians in Gaza. The Palestinian death toll in Israel's assault on Gaza has surpassed 25,000, according to the Ministry of Health in the territory. Are we creating new monster?

New..

Would the Democratic Party find a new person instead of Biden?  Just a thought.

Sweep..

Donald Trump won South Carolina’s Republican primary on Saturday, easily beating former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley in her home state and further consolidating his path to a third straight GOP nomination.

Trump has now swept every contest that counted for Republican delegates, adding to previous wins in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Haley is facing growing pressure to leave the race but says she’s not going anywhere despite losing the state where she was governor from 2011 to 2017.

A 2020 rematch between Trump and President Joe Biden is becoming increasingly inevitable. Haley has vowed to stay in the race through at least the batch of primaries on March 5, known as Super Tuesday, but was unable to dent Trump’s momentum in her home state despite holding far more campaign events and arguing that the indictments against Trump will hamstring him against Biden... NATO chief..

The NATO military alliance has joined calls for a “humanitarian pause” in the Israel-Hamas conflict to allow critical aid to get into Gaza.
Jens Stoltenberg, the alliance’s secretary-general, told reporters on Thursday that they are supporting diplomatic efforts for a humanitarian cease-fire.
“International law must be respected, civilians must be protected, and NATO allies support a humanitarian pause to allow aid to reach Gaza,” he said in Berlin ahead of a bilateral meeting with Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
“The suffering we have seen in recent weeks reminds us once again that we must not give up work for a lasting, peaceful, political solution,” Stoltenberg said.
Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7

Peace..

After 100 days of Israel Bombing Gaza, thousands of civilians died, no fuel, food, water, and moving million and a half from north to south and back after pulverizing half of the building in Gaza, still the hostages were not returned.

Not only that, but some hostages died and some got killed by the Israel forces "accidentally."

Israel choose not to have cease fire to get back the hostages since Hamas asked for the release of many Palestinians in Israel Prisons and more humanitarian supply to reach Gaza.

Many hostages were released earlier on a short period ceasefire, Why cant this happened on a longer time of peace.

Israel has a different goal other than the hostage's release........   Just a thought.

Illegitimate..

The Biden administration on Friday restored a U.S. legal finding dating back nearly 50 years that Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are “illegitimate” under international law.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the U.S. believes settlements are inconsistent with Israel’s obligations, reversing a determination made by his predecessor, Mike Pompeo, in the Biden administration’s latest shift away from the pro-Israel policies pursued by former President Donald Trump.
Blinken’s comments came in response to a reporter’s question about an announcement that Israel would build more than 3,300 new homes in West Bank settlements as a riposte to a fatal Palestinian shooting attack.
This came at a time of growing U.S.-Israeli tensions over the war in Gaza, with the latest settlement announcement only adding to the strain. It also came as the United Nations’ highest court, the International Court of Justice, is holding hearings into the legality of the Israeli occupation.

ACS..

People who have had a heart attack should immediately be offered a combination of cholesterol lowering drugs with statins and another cholesterol medication, new research suggests.

The study found that people with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) – which includes those who have experienced a heart attack or unstable angina – were 47% less likely to die within three years if they started taking a high dose statin and ezetimibe straight away, compared to just the high dose statin.

This study shows that if we act quickly and decisively to lower patients’ cholesterol with this combination of treatments, we can drastically reduce the risk of death.

The research was led by Maciej Banach, Professor of Cardiology at the Medical University of Lodz, Poland, and Adjunct Professor at the Ciccarone Centre for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, USA.

Broken..

The Russian military has broken the stalemate in the Ukraine war, Robert Gates, former CIA director and secretary of Defense, said Wednesday, following Moscow’s successful push to take the front-line city of Avdiivka.

“It’s no longer a stalemate. The Russians have regained momentum,” Gates told The Washington Post in a streaming interview. “Everything I’m reading is that the Russians are on the offensive along the 600-mile front.”

Ukraine now is confronting artillery shortages due to flagging U.S. support, “the Russians are feeling that the tides have turned.

Russian officials announced Monday that its forces finalized their capture of the key Ukrainian city of Avdiivka after taking full control of the city’s large coke plant. The costly operation marked Russia’s first major victory in months, and its most significant gain since taking nearby Bakhmut last spring.  Just a thought.
