Strong..

A strong majority of GOP voters would be satisfied with former President Trump as their party’s nominee, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll released Sunday, underlining Trump’s backing as he hopes for a strong showing in Monday’s Iowa caucuses.
About 72 percent of poll respondents said they’d be satisfied with Trump, and about two-thirds of the GOP electorate feel that the former president has the best chance of winning back the White House in November. Another two-thirds of respondents also said Trump is the strongest leader of the group.
The high satisfaction among Republicans for Trump comes as just 57 percent of Democrats feel the same about President Biden, the poll found.
Coments: For Biden....   Enough War, enough Bombing, and enough creating misery to humans in the Middle East.

Nuts..

The human body requires protein to function; it's essential for repairing and creating new cells (per MedlinePlus).

A lack of protein can lead to a weakened immune system, muscle loss, and poor hair and skin health, among other things (via Health). The most common food source to get this from is animal products like meat or eggs. But many nuts pack a powerful punch of protein, making them a great option.

Thankfully, the nut with the highest protein content per serving is also the one that is the most available: peanuts. As a note for those with allergies, Harvard Health puts it best: "Peanuts aren't nuts. They are actually legumes ... But like tree nuts, peanuts can be eaten as a filling snack or as a protein-boosting ingredient" (per Harvard Health Publishing).

A one-ounce serving of peanuts contains seven grams of protein. That is nearly equivalent to the amount in one extra large egg. The next top most protein-rich nuts are almonds (six grams), pistachios (5.7 grams), cashews (4.8 grams), and hazelnuts (4.3 grams). However, there is a literal added value to peanuts.

Bombs..

On Jan. 11, 2024, U.S. President Joe Biden announced that he had ordered airstrikes against areas in Yemen controlled by the Houthi movement, one of the sides in the Yemeni Civil War. The airstrikes immediately led to bipartisan backlash from members of Congress claiming that Biden had overstepped his bounds and that the airstrikes were unconstitutional without congressional aproval.
Did the president really follow up the bombing around the Middle East, from Syria, Iraq, Libya, Lebanan, and now Yemen?
Did he really authorize bombing the poorest country in the world Yemen?
A with this authorization, what was the outcome?   Just a thought.

Genocidal..

“SOUTH AFRICA HAS recognized the ongoing Nakba against the Palestinian people.”
With those words, Vusimuzi Madonsela, South Africa’s ambassador to the Netherlands, opened his government’s historic suit at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands, charging the state of Israel with multiple violations of the Genocide Convention during its three-month siege of Gaza.
South Africa, a nation whose population suffered for decades under an apartheid regime backed by the U.S., has embarked on its historic effort to prosecute Israel for its genocidal war against the people of Gaza. Its 84-page filingOpens in a new tabOpens in a new tab at the ICJ is a harrowing document. In meticulous detail, it offers an overview of a murderous campaign waged against a civilian population under the fraudulent cover of “self-defense.”
It lays out the horrifying scope of Israel’s destruction in Gaza of human life, civilian infrastructure, history, and culture, and paints a devastating picture of the grave conditions faced by those Palestinians who have managed to survive.  [The Intercept.]

Yemen..

The U.S. and British militaries were bombing more than a dozen sites used by the Houthis rebels in Yemen on Thursday, in a massive retaliatory strike using warship-launched Tomahawk missiles and fighter jets, several U.S. officials told The Associated Press.

The military targets included logistical hubs, air defense systems and weapons storage locations, they said.

Warning appeared to have had at least some short-lived impact, as attacks stopped for several days. On Tuesday, however, the Houthi rebels fired their largest-ever barrage of drones and missiles targeting shipping in the Red Sea, with U.S. and British ships and American fighter jets responding by shooting down 18 drones, two cruise missiles and an anti-ship missile.

More war igniting in the Middle East. The US supported the Saudis in Bombing of the poor Country of Yemen for 8 years with US Navy Blockade. Now we starting on our own, another bombing with poor civilians in the Midst.
