Fight..
With The Biden's administration spent 100 Billions of dollar sending weapons to the Ukraine including the Cluster munition, fueling the war in Europe though the UK, Spain, and others oppose it due to humanitarian concerns. Just a thought.
Threat..
While there is a prevalent belief in the United States that the country almost always wages war for noble purposes and in defense of freedom, global public opinion and facts paint a very different picture.
Most countries surveyed in a 2013 WIN/Gallup poll identified the United States as the greatest threat to world peace, and a 2017 Pew Research poll found that a record number of people in 30 surveyed nations viewed US power and influence as a "major threat."
The US has also invaded or bombed dozens of countries and supported nearly every single right wing dictatorship in the world since the end of World War II.
It has overthrown or attempted to overthrow dozens of foreign governments since 1949 and has actively sought to crush nearly every single people's liberation movement over that same period. It has also meddled in scores of elections, in countries that are allies and adversaries alike. [Brett Wilkins]
Parkinson..
Regular treadmill exercise may help in preventing Parkinson’s disease, according to new research.
These findings provide hope for non-drug treatments, like physical activity, to slow down the progression of the disease.
According to researchers in Italy, engaging in intensive exercise, such as daily treadmill runs, can stimulate the production of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). It is a protein critical for the survival and growth of brain neurons.
By promoting the health of neurons, BDNF enhances the brain’s capacity to reorganize and adapt, which is crucial for learning and memory. Moreover, BDNF aids in reducing the spread of pathological alpha-synuclein aggregates, associated with neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson’s.
Famine..
The UN says Yemen is experiencing the world's worst humanitarian crisis.
It says 4.5 million people, one in seven of the population, have been displaced. while 24.1 million people, 80% of the population, are in need of humanitarian aid and protection.
The UN says that tens of thousands of people in Yemen are currently living in famine-like conditions, while some six million people are on the verge of famine.
The naval blockade imposed on Yemen has substantially contributed to pushing Yemeni civilians into starvation and can be considered torture, the World Organization Against Torture (OMCT) said in a report published today.
The U.S. tacitly cooperated with the blockade by not challenging it, and the U.S. Navy occasionally announces it has intercepted smuggled weapons from Iran, suggesting a more active role than the administration admits.
