Flirting..

Calculations from Brown University’s Watson Institute indicated that 4,898 U.S. soldiers had perished in Iraq as of September 1, 2021.  The number of deaths among contractors was close behind at 3,650.
Washington acknowledged that 2,448 U.S. military service personnel were killed during the two-decade long intervention, compared to 3,846 contractors.
In late 2021, an analyst at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) noted that more contractors (nearly 8,000) had died in the various post-9-11 conflicts than had U.S. armed forces personnel.
U.S. leaders are flirting with even more dangerous risks than they did by meddling in the affairs of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria, since the presence of U.S. mercenaries in Ukraine could lead to a direct clash with Russia. Both Congress and the American people must demand much greater transparency about the role of Washington’s Hessians in all combat zones.

Laundromat..

new report by the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) has found that European countries that banned Russian oil imports are instead importing huge amounts of oil commodities from India, China, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Turkey, therefore qualifying them as laundromats.

How the price cap coalition whitewashes Russian oil in third countries, reveals that western countries bought $42 billion worth of laundered Russian crude in the form of various oil products from nations that are friendly towards Russia, with India leading the five other countries.

India has particularly been offering a back-door for imports of Russian oil into Britain, blunting the country's efforts to restrict funding for the Kremlin. Some British buyers have effectively replaced imports directly from Russia with imports from Russian-fed refineries, thereby indirectly supporting the Russian oil industry.

Poor..

The Democratic party decided that no one is available who has credibility with the American people for the 2024 presidential run except President Biden.  Mr. Biden looks tired and too old for a second term, but it's all about the party and about the winning.

Mr. Biden didn't do much good during his time in the office. Started with his Anti Fossil talks, anti Russia, various sanctions on Russia that brought price inflation worldwide, including USA and Western Europe, to the poor countries in Africa.

Just a thought.

Jerry Springer, the former Cincinnati mayor and long time TV host whose tabloid talk show was known for outrageous arguments, thrown chairs and physical confrontations between sparring couples and homewreckers, has died, a family spokesperson said Thursday. Springer was 79.
"Jerry's ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word," Jene Galvin, a lifelong friend and spokesman for the family, said in a statement.
Springer once told CNN that he did not mind being referred to as the "grandfather of trash TV," saying in 2010, as "The Jerry Springer Show" celebrated its 20th anniversary on the air: "It's probably accurate. I don't know what the award for that is, but I think it is true that we were probably one of the first shows to present some of the outrageousness we have.
Talk Shows moved to fake News, paid opinions, debating the anticipated of what's next and talk, talk, talk nowadays.

The United States gave JPMorgan (JPM.N) permission to process payments for agricultural exports via the Russian Agricultural Bank, but the arrangement was no substitute for reconnecting the bank to the SWIFT system, two Russian sources told Reuters.

Access to the SWIFT payment system for the Russian Agricultural Bank is one of Moscow's main demands in negotiations over the future of the Black Sea grain export deal, which the United Nations says helps to tackle a global food crisis that has been aggravated by the Ukraine war.
Russia's grain and fertilizer exports are not subject to Western sanctions imposed following the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine, but Moscow says Western restrictions on payments, logistics and insurance are a barrier to shipments which has a chilling effect  on poor Countries.
Let us take a different approach to peace. Sanctions on the Russians didn't help the West, the East, the rich and mainly the poorest people and nations of the world.
