Can't

Released..

The following statement was released by Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen, Federal Reserve Board Chair Jerome H. Powell, and FDIC Chairman Martin J. Gruenberg:

Today we are taking decisive actions to protect the U.S. economy by strengthening public confidence in our banking system. This step will ensure that the U.S. banking system continues to perform its vital roles of protecting deposits and providing access to credit to households and businesses in a manner that promotes strong and sustainable economic growth.

After receiving a recommendation from the boards of the FDIC and the Federal Reserve, and consulting with the President, Secretary Yellen approved actions enabling the FDIC to complete its resolution of Silicon Valley Bank, Santa Clara, California, in a manner that fully protects all depositors.

We are also announcing a similar systemic risk exception for Signature Bank...

Shareholders and certain unsecured debtholders will not be protected. Senior management has also been removed. Any losses to the Deposit Insurance Fund to support uninsured depositors will be recovered by a special assessment on banks, as required by law.

The West wanted Russia's economy to collapse not our banking System.

The more..

The results, from a 2022 collaboration between the University of California in and the University of British Columbia, were striking. Physical exercise, late in life, seemed to protect the ageing connections between brain cells – the synapses where memories are made.
There is a 30%-80% reduced risk of dementia in people who exercise.
One recent study of nearly 80,000 people in the UK found that the risk of dementia was halved in people who reached the goal of 10,000 steps a day.
Part of the observed benefit could be down to people with healthier brains simply exercising more
While there are definite benefits to be had from exercise – greater blood flow to the brain, better cardiovascular health, lower blood pressure, less obesity and diabetes there is still plenty to nail down. Just a thought.

Comfy..

Hey..

Crummy..

Shortage..

Labor shortages are already yielding a war for talent that is being fought between US cities and states, including assembly line workers, nurses and teachers. But the people wars are going to be global as well.

In China the population shrank last year for the first time since the 1960s.

Russia’s war in Ukraine has prompted a historic exodus of people from both countries of which others like Germany and Poland are reaping the unfortunate workforce benefits.

Other nations like Australia and Canada are mounting aggressive recruiting efforts for skilled migrants.

It’s all bound to have geopolitical consequences. Grand visions need people, and in too many economies around the world there just aren’t enough people to live up to the ambitions. Just a thought.

Peace..

New Era..

China’s efforts in brokering a deal between Iran and Saudi Arabia have been seen by analysts as broader signs of a “changing global order”.
During talks in Beijing on Friday, Saudi Arabia and Iran agreed to re-establish diplomatic relations and reopen their embassies within two months. The agreement also stipulated affirming “the respect for the sovereignty of states and the non-interference in internal affairs of states”.
China’s role as a mediator in resolving longstanding issues between the regional foes had not been made public prior to the announcement.
Wang reportedly said China will continue to play a constructive role in handling hotspot issues and demonstrate responsibility as a major nation. He added that as a “good-faith” and “reliable” mediator, China has fulfilled its duties as a host for dialogue.
Peace and prosperity is the new era for nations. Bombing countries never changed ideology. China is taking the right path for prospirity. Just a thought.
