Retire..

When we retire from our jobs we may be giving up more than staff meetings, desk lunches and a paycheck. The social interaction and mental challenges found through work can be good for our mental health. Working longer, making decisions and being surrounded by different people is good for your brain health, according to new research.

In the first year of retirement, there’s a 30% reduction in short-term memory, said Mitch Anthony, author of “The New Retirementality” and retirement coach.

“Boredom is a real thing. The human species needs something productive to do. Otherwise, life feels aimless,” said Anthony. “A lot of retirees say they’re busy. Busy? Doing what? Doing something 18 levels below your pay grade is not good for you.”

Mary Ann..

Mary Ann Pessa

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God is our arefuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.

The church in the Gardens had a Prayer meeting on Sunday 1/22/2023 in Memory of our friend Mary Ann Pessa.

Stove..

What's the world coming to?  Can't figure what the truth is.  Just a thought.

Folks..

U.S., German and other European leaders became locked in an increasingly ugly tit-for-tat over whether to send tanks to Ukraine. As language got heated behind the scenes, neither the U.S. nor Germany would budge.

Ultimately, President Joe Biden decided it was more important to show a unified front and send the tanks, a move that could go down as one of the most consequential decisions in the multinational effort to arm Ukraine.

Biden's can't solve people's issues in USA then start a West/East War that no one will be a winner.   Just a thought.

Around..

Handled..

Fade..

How can this crisis fade easily?
Simple, create another major problem with Russia, China, North Korea, Germany...etc We call it National Security.

DOJ..

On November 2nd, lawyers emptying Biden's office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington DC, happened upon classified documents.

They alerted the National Archives, the DOJ. No one told the public anything as the country voted in the November 8th midterms.

On November 9th the FBI started a preliminary investigation. In December, more documents turned up. This time at Biden's Wilmington home.

That apparently lit a fire under the U.S. attorney tapped to look into this mess and he recommended Garland appoint a special counsel.

Still, the American people hadn't heard a peep until January 9th, that is, when CBS News reported on the November discovery.

On January 10th, Biden faced reporters' questions for the first-time and he was shocked, shocked like really shocked, to discover that there were classified documents from 10 years ago close to his beloved car.

a Limb..

The "Trusted" Media going on an active drive to say, "what Biden did really is sort of expected."

Corvette..

When the Justice Department lost patience with Donald Trump, who was storing classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, they launched an unprecedented Hollywood-style raid on the former president's home – complete with 30 federal agents and a comprehensive search of Melania's wardrobe.
But when it turns out that Biden was keeping secret material in his personal office and Delaware garage alongside his prized Corvette, suddenly it's like Seinfeld's Uncle Leo stealing from the bookstore, 'I'm an old man!'
Where was the raid on Wilmington?

The horses have now bolted the barn. The opportunity to conduct a credible investigation has passed. The special counsel probe has been spoiled and the bungling Justice Department has bungled another one.
