Shift .

A political shift is beginning to take hold across the U.S.

More than 1 million voters across 43 states have switched to the Republican Party over the last year, according to voter registration data analyzed by The Associated Press.

The previously unreported number reflects a phenomenon that is playing out in virtually every region of the country — Democratic and Republican states along with cities and small towns — in the period since President Joe Biden took office .  “It’s more so a rejection of the left than embracing the right,”

registered voters are becoming increasingly concerned about the Democrats’ support in some localities for mandatory COVID-19 vaccines, the party’s inability to quell violent crime and its frequent focus on racial justice. Just a "wake Up" thought.

Escalate....

In their zeal to portray Donald Trump as a dangerous threat to national security, the Clinton campaign has taken a starkly anti-Russian stance, one that completes a total role reversal for the two major American parties on U.S.-Russian relations that Hillary Clinton is committed to, in her attempt to become a president.

The side switching between the parties on Russia is the result of two converging trends. U.S.-Russian relations have gone downhill since Russian President Vladimir Putin came back to power in 2012, torpedoing the Obama administration’s first term outreach to Moscow, which Clinton led. Then, in the past year, Trump’s Russia-friendly policy has filled the pro-engagement space that Democrats once occupied.

And now, for mostly political reasons, the Clinton campaign has decided to escalate its rhetoric on Russia. After Trump suggested that if Russia had indeed hacked Clinton’s private email server it should release the emails, the Clinton campaign sent out its Democratic surrogates to bash Russia and Trump in a manner traditionally reserved for Republicans.

Nord Stream

Gazprom will stop all gas flows to Europe via the Nord Stream pipeline from August 31 until September 2, Russia's gas giant Gazprom announced on Friday.

The reason for the 3-day suspension of gas flows via the pipeline would be due to maintenance work at the Trent 60 gas compressor station, which would be carried out with Siemens.

The maintenance was not planned and is expected to escalate tensions between Russia and the EU, and squeeze Germany, already in the midst of an energy crisis, by restricting gas supplies even more.

Flows via Nord Stream have been reduced since mid-June after regularly scheduled maintenance continues to drag out over a gas turbine that was repaired by Siemens but never put back into operation.

President Biden forced Germany and other European Countries to cancel Nord Stream 2. The outcome is catastrophic for Europe. Thanks to our President.

“New York City is proud to be a welcoming and inclusive city for immigrants. We are thrilled by the news that the Department of Justice has recognized that anti-immigrant policies do not make our communities safer. Donald Trump’s vindictive attempt to withhold grants from cities that stand up for our immigrant neighbors was inhumane and unacceptable, which is why we joined localities across the country to challenge these policies in court.   That was a year a go.

No we don't want them, as it appears.

“This just shows the hypocrisy of these liberal leaders up in the northeast who think, ‘That border crisis, created by Joe Biden, that’s fine as long as Texas has to deal with it,’” Abbott said. “But as soon as they have to deal with the real consequences of Biden’s border-caused crisis, they are up in arms.”

Democratic Party at work.  Just a thought.

Democratic..

York City's controversial congestion pricing program is moving forward to generate nearly $1 billion a year in new tolls.

But with New Jersey drivers expected to get hit the hardest, Gov. Phil Murphy says as the plan stands now, it's not going to happen. He even outlined ways to stop it, CBS2's Kevin Rincon reported.

Commuters going into the city already pay to use the Holland and Lincoln tunnels, and the George Washington Bridge. In addition, they are taxed to work in the city. Murphy said, any plan that would, as he calls it, double-tax drivers, is just not going to happen.

The Democrats are after your money.. That's all.  Just a thought.

Liz..

On Wednesday morning, she told NBC's "Today" show that she is "thinking about" running for president and will make a decision in "the coming months."

last of the 10 House Republicans who voted for Trump's second impeachment to face voters, Cheney now becomes the eighth who will not be returning to Congress next year.

Her loss, though widely anticipated, represents a significant marker in the wider fight over the direction of the Republican Party. Once considered an up-and-comer, Cheney was booted from House GOP leadership last year over her unyielding opposition to the former President and trailed in polling back home this year as she helped lead the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol.

She bit on the Wrong Horse.  Just a thought.
