Romance..

Those are some of the clues that support the belief that Alabama corrections official Vicky White and murder suspect Casey White had a romantic relationship before both disappeared last week, said Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton.

Vicky White, 56, and Casey White, 38, who are not related, went missing Friday morning after she said she was taking the inmate to the courthouse and was planning to seek medical attention because she wasn't feeling well.

Vicky White is now the subject of an active arrest warrant for allegedly permitting or facilitating escape in the first degree, the sheriff said Monday.

Authorities believe the officer and inmate had a romantic relationship that extended into Vicky White's non-work hours, Singleton said.

Too many broken hearts have fallen in the river
Too many lonely souls have drifted out to sea
You lay your bets and then you pay the price
The things we do for love, the things we do for love.

The Abyss..

Worker productivity fell to start 2022 at its fastest pace in nearly 75 years while labor costs soared as the U.S. struggled with surging Covid cases, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Thursday.

Nonfarm productivity, a measure of output against hours worked, declined 7.5% from January through March, the biggest fall since the third quarter of 1947.

At the same time, unit labor costs soared 11.6%, bringing the increase over the past four quarters to 7.2%, the biggest gain since the third quarter of 1982. The metric calculates how much employers pay workers in salary and benefits per unit of output.

Wall Street already had been looking for a 5.2% drop in productivity and an increase of 10.5% in unit labor costs.

Taken together, the numbers underline the inflation surge in the U.S., which has seen prices rise at the fastest level in more than 40 years.

How are we going to fix that, with Democratic party promoting executive decisions that is taking the Country to the edge of the Abyss.

Dunno..

There is a major difference between the Seventy's Inflation and today's. The current is a hand made and delivered by our current Democratic Party and Democratic Presdent..

First, Shutting down the Key Stone pipeline. Second, "No drilling, no drilling period". Third, Waste spending right and Left. Fourth, Shutting down the Nord Stream 2. Fifth, encourage the Ukranian/Russia war and finally, many related executive decisions made hastley by this administration.

They called this inflation "transitional" and it is with tremendous pain to poor people in particular.

Let us fix it Brandon, let us admit our misguided decisions and fix it.  Just a thought.

Soul

The Republican Presidents never had a problem with Russia. Unlike the Democrats. Starting with Hillary Clinton's accusation of Trump being a Russian asset, the Steel Dossier scam and the DNC and Hillary plan of a fake story.

In addition to the encouragement of Democratic President to the Ukranian/Nato alliances for this current war. We are not realy helping the Ukraine, we just hate the Russians. and as they said we want the war to continue regardless of the oil prices, Inflation or the coming recession worldwide.
George Bush looked at the Man's soul and we need to look at our soul as well.
  Just a thought.

What For..

Rates..

The Federal Reserve ordered the largest interest hike in more than two decades as part of its escalating campaign to battle stubbornly high inflation

The central bank raised its benchmark rate by half-a-percentage point, following a quarter-point increase in March.

Fiasco..

Now We are Marching to another War- We call it Freedom War. The Ukraine/Russia conflict.

Another Fiasco that will hurt the American people and the poor people of the world and the outcome is misery for the people of many nations. Just pure misery. Look around Brandon.

Just a "Miserable" thought.

Ratings..

Americans harbor some of the most downbeat views on the economy since the recovery from the Great Recession, and some of their attitudes are in line with those seen only during recessions.

Amid soaring inflation, 47% of the public say the economy is “poor,” the highest number in that category since 2012. Only 17% rank the economy as excellent or good, the lowest since 2014.

Only one in five Americans describe their personal financial situation as “getting ahead,” the weakest showing in eight years. Most say they are “remaining in place,” and one in 10 say they are “falling backward.” Meanwhile, 56% say they expect a recession in the next year — a level only achieved in the survey during an actual recession.

The pessimism is clearly dragging on Americans’ opinions of President Joe Biden. In fact, nothing looks to be working in the Biden presidency from the public’s viewpoint.

The president’s approval rating sank to a new low of just 38%, with 53% disapproving. Biden’s -15% net approval rating is measurably worse than his -9% approval in the CNBC December survey. What’s more, his approval rating on the economy dropped for a fourth straight survey to just 35%, with 60% disapproving, putting the president a deep 25 points underwater.

The president also saw double-digit declines, on a year-over-year basis, in economic approval among key constituencies who helped to put him in office: women aged 18-49, people of color and young Americans aged 18-35.
