Lies..

President Biden has repeatedly blamed tangled supply chains for the surging inflation that has seeped into every part of the U.S. economy – but a former Obama administration official on Thursday dismissed that as a "totally dishonest" argument.

In an op-ed for The New York Times, Steven Rattner – who served as counselor to the Treasury secretary under then-President Barack Obama – accused Biden of mischaracterizing the once-in-a-generation inflation spurt that Americans are experiencing.
"Supply issues are by no means the root cause of our inflation. Blaming inflation on supply lines is like complaining about your sweater keeping you too warm after you’ve added several logs to the fireplace," Rattner wrote.
"The bulk of our supply problems are the product of an overstimulated economy, not the cause of it."

Saga..

Every Democrat is chasing Donald Trump for fear he might come back. WIth that, he might come back.

On the other hand, Gov. Cuomo, the democrat, no one in the democratic party, Justice department, or the Da to investigate the Nursing home debacle. That is the death of the grand parent who did their jobs to build this country and were left vulnerable at their age to the viscousness of the virus and the dealing with it.   Just a thought.

Memories..

The Democrats are bringing back great memories. Carter Time.

WHen you wouldn't be able to afford anything.   Just a thought.

Final..

Moderna's CEO Stephane Bancel said it's "reasonable" to assume that we may be approaching the final stages of the pandemic.

"I think that is a reasonable scenario," he told CNBC's "Squawk Box Asia" when asked about views that the Covid-19 pandemic may now be in its final stages.

Some studies have shown that while the omicron variant appears more contagious, it generally doesn't make people as sick as the delta strain does.

Health officials have also highlighted that omicron's threat may be fading.

White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci also said last month that it's still an "open question" about whether the omicron variant will mark the final wave of the pandemic. Light at the end of the tunnel.

Cruel..

More than 1,400 New York City workers were fired on Friday for not complying with a COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

City officials said 1,430 city employees were terminated after they were on unpaid leave for months over their refusal to get the vaccine, WABC-New York reported.

The city agencies with the largest termination rates were the Education Department and Housing Authority. The Education Department had 914 employees fired and the Housing Authority had 101 workers terminated.

White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci also said last month that it's still an "open question" about whether the omicron variant will mark the final wave of the pandemic.

Who are these people, Black, Brown, White, and poor people? No one would say.

Just an "Injustice" thought.

Felon..

San Francisco’s district attorney has dropped charges against a woman whose DNA collected from a rape kit was used to link her to a property crime, citing a violation of her constitutional rights.

The woman’s DNA, which was collected in a rape exam as part of a domestic violence and sexual abuse case several years ago, was used to link her to a felony property crime in the city. Police identified her in the crime based on evidence from the rape exam.

The DA expressed concerns the practice would deter victims of sexual assault, which is widely underreported in the US, from coming forward.

The DA, who facing a recall effort, was elected to his position in 2019 alongside a national wave of progressive prosecutors.

Felonies for all?  Just a thought.

Roll..

While only a handful of Democrats have called for heads to roll in the White House even privately there is broader agreement within the party that Biden can’t keep doing the same things and expect different results. Suggestions range from picking a handful of high-stakes fights with Republicans to elevating Cabinet secretaries to altering his inner circle by addition, subtraction or both.

A member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, speaking on the condition of anonymity to avoid angering the president, said the U.S. exit from Afghanistan and the coronavirus pandemic have led voters to question a key component of Biden’s campaign-trail sales pitch: that his team would be competent.

Replacing top aides, including chief of staff Ron Klain, would send a signal to the public that Biden understands something has to change, this lawmaker added.

The president is not getting the right advise for sure. Just a thought.

Oh..

The blows keep coming.

Disgraced celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti must pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to lawyers who represented Nike when he tried to extort $25 million from the sportswear giant, a judge ruled Monday.

Manhattan Federal Court Judge Paul Gardephe ordered Avenatti to pay $259,800 to Nike in restitution ― about a third of the $856,162 in attorneys’ fees the company requested.

The judgment comes a week after Gardephe denied Avenatti’s motion for a new trial in the case, and less than two weeks after Avenatti was convicted of stealing $300,000 from Stormy Daniels when he represented her in litigation against Donald Trump.

This is the man that was embraced by the Democratic Party to run for ... against..... Then

leave..

Mariel Saez, a senior communications director for President Biden, is the latest messaging maven to leave the administration and is leaving government behind her when she goes.

Saez, the White House director of broadcast media, announced her departure on Monday, said, “It has been an honor to serve the President as Director of Broadcast Media, and I’m grateful to my talented and dedicated colleagues at the White House and across the Administration who worked hand-in-hand with me to communicate the President’s priorities across broadcast media.”

Saez will be moving to the private sector after leaving the White House. She previously worked as an aide to House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) for 10 years and was employed by both Biden’s presidential campaign and inaugural committee. She has been in her current role since the president took office last year. They do leave, don't they?  Just a thought.
