Several pieces of evidence suggest that the Renaissance Man was vegetarian. Several biographies attribute his diet preferences to his love for animals, in whom he saw “the image of the world”. 

No wonder he was always surrounded by animals and was routinely known to buy caged birds only to set them free.

In New York real estate, money can usually buy you a modicum of happiness. But the residents of one of the city’s priciest—and tallest—residential towers are suing its developers for structural flaws they say have made their lives a living nightmare.

According to the board, shoddy workmanship and poor planning has led to flooding, stuck elevators, electrical explosions, and “horrible and obtrusive noise and vibration” caused by building sway.

The suit accuses CIM and Macklowe of “one of the worst examples of Sponsor malfeasance in the development of a luxury condominium in the history of New York City.”

The buildings’ elevators, programmed to slow down during high winds, have repeatedly shut down and trapped residents for hours “on multiple occasions.”

Every 12th floor is an unenclosed space, intended to allow air currents to pass through, decreasing wind resistance and cutting down on stress to the structure. But, according to the lawsuit, even CIM Group chair Richard Ressler, a fellow resident, admitted in “an unguarded moment” that the sound and vibration issues were “intolerable” and made it hard to sleep during bad weather.  Just a thought.

New York's deadline for health care workers to be vaccinated in the state will take effect on Monday.   New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) has said she may tap the National Guard and put out a call to out-of-state health care workers to fill the roles of the unvaccinated people who could be out of work if they miss Monday's vaccine deadline, Reuters said.

That could mean declaring a state of emergency to allow health care professionals licensed outside of New York, as well as recent graduates and retirees, to practice there. 

Other options include deploying medically trained National Guard members, partnering with the federal government to send Disaster Medical Assistance Teams to local health and medical systems and "exploring ways to expedite visa requests for medical professionals."

The state's labor department has also issued guidance clarifying that workers who are terminated because they refuse to be vaccinated will not be eligible for unemployment insurance, "absent a valid doctor-approved request for medical accommodation."

Creating Chaos in the medical field in the Midst of the crisis, Shortage of workers and gratitude for the burden they carried last year all through with minimal protection. That is a new governor working for you.

While 19-year-old Billie Eilish grew up vegetarian, she also turned vegan at the age of 12. In an interview with British Vogue, she talked about how she has been vegan for about seven years and doesn’t see herself switching to a different lifestyle. 

“I learned about the dairy industry and the meat industry, which I already knew about. Once you know about that kind of thing and you see it, it's really hard to go back…I just can’t go on in my life knowing what’s going on in the animal world and not doing anything about it,” she said.

Former US President Bill Clinton is not just a vegetarian, but a vegan. 

He changed his eating habits after undergoing a quadruple heart bypass, so he could live to be a grandfather. 

“I am now the oldest person in my family for three generations—man or woman…I said, ‘You know, I think I’d like to hang around,'” PETA quoted him as saying.

Almond milk smoothies, green salads, quinoa, beans and other vegetables now make up most of his diet.

The definition of a dictator: A person exercising absolute power, especially a ruler who has absolute, unrestricted control in a government without hereditary succession.

Recently Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo had the nerve to call the law enforcement officers who refused to enforce his unconstitutional rule to limit the number of people allowed in our homes. Maybe he should look up the definition and then look in the mirror.

Who fits the description better? 

The law enforcement men and women who risk their lives on a daily basis or the power-hungry governor who wants to control every aspect of our lives? 

Also, maybe if our state legislators had to live off unemployment like the rest of the people the governor has put out of work they would be more inclined to get back to work and do their jobs.

The time these two got together happily is when?!.. Just a thought.

Climate ...

 

The politicians now discover a new phrase to use, Climate Change. In other word what happened during Flooding of NYC due to 6 inches of rain, it is not my fault, it is all our faults because it is the Climate change.

Then after we say that, we have a New York City sewer system that can't absorb more than 1.5 inches of rain at a time, etc

But then, the politicians keep rezoning the city and open the door for skyscrapers on the same sewer system that was built in 1900. It doesn't matter, its Climate Change. In addition, the builders are good donners for political offices.

In Queens Boulevard, dividers were installed between service road and main road to prevent walking across the Blvd. The same dividers installed between one lane and another, became hazardous to those who are stock in one lane and left their cars unattended. 

Congestion pricing, which additional taxes are placed on the public, rich and poor, to be wasted some place else. In the same time, offering Amazon three Billion dollars credit, and the best part of Long Island City, creating a hill on earth living condition for the people in the area and blame it on...whatever is popular then, Climate change.
