Sen. Cory Booker must raise nearly $2 million in the next 10 days or the presidential candidate has no "legitimate long-term path forward," according to a memo to staff from the campaign manager.
The struggling candidate's campaign manager, Addisu Demissie, warned that after weaker-than-expected fundraising in the early part of September, the campaign needs to rake in another $1.7 million before the last day of the financial quarter on Sept. 30.
Demissie said the campaign has enough money to keep going at its current pace if it wanted to, but not enough to expand operations before voting starts early next year and that Booker doesn't want stay in the race if he doesn't think he can win.
"If our campaign is not in a financial position to grow, he's not going to continue to consume resources and attention that can be used to focus on beating Donald Trump, which needs to be everyone's first priority," Demissie wrote.

Missing the mark all around it.

Former CIA Director John Brennan said he is "concerned" about the Justice Department's review of the origins of the Russia investigation.
The "Investigation into the Investigators" has been underway since the spring, and reports this week showed Attorney General William Barr has taken a more expansive role in it than previously known, pressing foreign leaders to cooperate with the DOJ.
During an interview Wednesday, Brennan said he is "supposedly" going to be interviewed by John Durham, the U.S. attorney tasked with leading the review. Brennan said by all accounts Durham is a man of "integrity" but added Barr has proven himself to be the "president's attorney."

I think Brennan and Clapper have both shown their political bias. I think they're frightened to death that Michael Horowitz report is on the verge of coming out, that Mr. Durham has been on their tail, that the truth is going to be exposed,"  Jason Chaffetz said.

Image result for Pelosi- Taxing the medicines cartoon

Speaker Nancy Pelosi released a plan detailing House Democrats’ ideas to change the way people get prescription drugs. At the heart of the plan is a retroactive 95% tax on up to 250 of the most common medicines. The only way out of paying this tax is if the drug becomes subject to strict government price controls and price caps. The House is expected to vote on the plan this fall

If all that sounds suspiciously like "Medicare for all," it should. This extreme tax hike on the prescription medicines we all take would fit very nicely into similar socialized medicine plans pushed by presidential front-runners. It’s so radical that it doesn’t even try to hide what it’s doing.
This 95% Pelosi Medicine Tax is which, of course, is actually paid by you and me at the pharmacy counter or in our health insurance premiums, they can submit their drug to government arbitration, which is another term for a price control. This price control would have a ceiling of no more than 120% of the cost of the drug in the six biggest non-U.S. industrialized countries.

Heart attacks require immediate medical attention to minimise the amount of damage done to a person’s heart muscle. While heart attacks can happen suddenly, it tends to be an accumulation of unhealthy lifestyle decisions that lead up to the event.

As more and more evidence emerges about the link between red and processed meats and heart disease, people are increasingly following a plant-based diet.

A new study has revealed that halving the amount red and processed (RPM) meat in the diet can have a significant impact on health, reducing the amount of LDL 'bad' cholesterol in the blood which cuts the risk of developing heart disease.

“The results of the present study showed that, even in relatively young and healthy individuals, making relatively small changes to RPM intake induced significant changes in LDL cholesterol which, if maintained over a period of time could potentially reduce the risk of developing heart disease."

Since the beginning of the Trump presidency, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been fending off calls to impeach Trump. The clamor started on the left fringe and quickly worked its way toward her inner circle, with committee chairs and her close friends in the conference publicly embracing impeachment in increasing numbers following the 2018 midterm.
On top of the dam breaking in Pelosi’s conference, clear majorities of Democratic voters have favored impeaching Trump for two years, even as clear majorities of the broader electorate did not.
The intensity of partisan Democratic opinion has been magnified by the presidential primary, with numerous candidates  most notably Elizabeth Warren  loudly banging the impeachment drum, and attracting large crowds in the process.
This is about the coming election. How to move the pendulum to the Democratic side. It is the power in money, taxation, influence and avoid being run over by Trump's economics.

Just a thought.
