Rat-Race...
"It was the worst day of my life! It took 20 minutes to board! We had to sit on the runway for 40 minutes!"
We hear complaints like these all the time. As if we've forgotten how incredible it is that humans can fly at all.
Not everything in life goes exactly how we plan. Stuff happens. Over-obsessing and basing happiness on specific outcomes leads to misery.
No two human beings are the same. Why should we have one standard of success?
Society standard of success is an endless rat-race. There will always be someone better than you. You'll never have the time to do everything.
When you choose one thing, you simultaneously don't choose several others. it's beautiful thing we get to choose our ultimate ideal.
We must define success, wealth, and happiness in our own terms because if we don't, society will do it for us -- and we will always fall short.

A study, carefully tracked how much people ate and moved after starting to exercise, found that many of them failed to lose or even gained weight while exercising.
Physical activity consumes calories, and if we burn calories without replacing them or reducing our overall energy expenditure, we enter negative energy balance.
But human metabolisms are not always just and cogent, and multiple past studies have shown that most men and women who begin new exercise routines drop only about 30 percent or 40 percent as much weight as would be expected, given how many additional calories they are expending with exercise.
Scientists studying the issue agree that most of us compensate for the calories lost to exercise by eating more, moving less, or both. Our resting metabolic rates may also decline if we start to lose pounds. All of this shifts us back toward positive energy balance, otherwise known as weight gain.
So, people hoping to lose weight with exercise should pay close attention to what they eat and skip those last four bites, no matter how tempting

Train...
Experts estimate that the mind thinks between 60,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day. That’s an average of 2500 thoughts per hour.
If you pay attention to these thoughts, you would be amazed to discover that most of them are useless thoughts that pass through the mind with a huge speed.
These are words, comments, questions, answers and a lot of senseless wandering thoughts that you might not even be aware of.
These are words, comments, questions, answers and a lot of senseless wandering thoughts that you might not even be aware of.
If you have experience with meditation, you would have proof of the great number of thoughts passing through your mind. It’s just like being a very busy train station or airport terminal, where a great number of people come and go.
You also get proof of the endless stream of thoughts when you try to study, solve a problem or make a plan. Suddenly, you become aware of the many irrelevant thoughts claiming for your attention.
Swell...
The longshot 2020 candidate, who tried to make a name for himself on cable news shows as the voice of a younger political generation, dropped out of the race for the 2020 Democratic presidential.
"Today ends our presidential campaign, but it is the beginning of an opportunity in Congress with a new perspective shaped by the lives that have touched mine and our campaign throughout these last three months to bring that promise of America to all Americans," Swalwell told reporters at a press conference.
Swalwell ran with gun control at the center of his platform. So it ends.

Donald Trump managed to fit in more Twitter jabs directed at Fox News.
The former Celebrity Apprentice host dug into Fox News in a fresh batch of tweets slamming the news network for hiring Donna Brazile and criticizing their daytime anchors.
“Impossible to believe that @FoxNews has hired @donnabrazile, the person fired by @CNN (after they tried to hide the bad facts, & failed) for giving Crooked Hillary Clinton the questions to a debate, something unimaginable,” he wrote “Now she is all over Fox, including Shep Smith, by far…their lowest rated show.
She was fired from other networks, now in the arms of the Fox.

Le...
A pharmacist who allegedly verified nearly 750,000 prescriptions over 10 years1 is receiving a good deal of attention from real pharmacists, as well as the public.
Kim Thien Le worked at 3 Walgreens locations in California, allegedly using the pharmacist license number of a similarly named individual. In addition to filling prescriptions, including more than 100,000 for controlled substances/narcotics, she is accused of counseling patients, administering immunizations and supervising staff, among other pharmacist duties.1
Le once was licensed as a pharmacy technician, but her license expired in 2008. A Walgreens representative told the Los Angeles Times that “Le’s employment ended in October 2017, and since the complaint was filed, the chain had undertaken a re-verification of all of its pharmacists’ licenses nationwide.”2
A routine visit by state pharmacy investigators to the Fremont Walgreens uncovered some controlled substances prescriptions that were dispensed without the required security measures, according to the California Board of Pharmacy complaint.
