Diet...

A study published in Stroke, a journal of the AHA, reveals women age 50 and above who consume more than one artificially sweetened drink a day are significantly more likely to have a stroke, a heart attack and an early death.
The study examined data on 81,714 women ages 50-79 tracked for an average of 12 years.
The American Beverage Association pointed out that regulatory bodies like the Food and Drug Administration and the European Food Safety Agency consider artificial sweeteners safe.
The study only shows an association, not a cause-and-effect correlation. These results are not applicable to men or younger women.
Incentive...
Amazon’s decision to drop its expansion plans in the Long Island City neighborhood of Queens plunged local real estate brokers into despair -- just months after the euphoria that followed the company’s announcement that it would open offices there and bring thousands of jobs. But not just despair. Also anger.
Mayor de Blasio and Governor Cuomo lobbied hard for the deal, drawing backlash from local politicians and community organizers who objected to $3 billion in government incentives for a trillion Dollar company at a time when the city faces budget cuts and both are trying to tax the little people if you dare to drive to work in Manhattan.
These two politicians drove the NYC Subway System to the ground and made people's daily commute a nightmare. Not to mention the other nightmare, NYCHA.
The two, Extra ordinare, did zero effort to improve the lives of the people in the city and created the congestion that they want to tax. More money, more money.

Defeat...
Amazon is ditching its plans to build a new headquarters in New York after facing backlash from members of the community.
“After much thought and deliberation, we’ve decided not to move forward with our plans to build a headquarters for Amazon in Long Island City, Queens,” Jodi Seth, an Amazon spokeswoman, said in a statement.
A huge defeat to Gov. Cuomo.
Candidate...

Everyone with a plan to tax the American people and then waste it on something is jumping in.
Politicians who failed to run a large projects that serve the little people but neglected it are jumping in with a big promise to help the little one.
Failures to run the NYC Subway, NYCHA, or the quick deals like the Amazon which would have displaced many low and moderate income and cause great congestion. In addition, permits for sky scrapers increased and the roads decreased and more congestion
created.
All are welcome to run in the next Presidential hopes.

Warned...
A former U.S. Air Force counterintelligence specialist has been charged with revealing classified information to the Tehran government, including the code name and secret mission of a Pentagon program.
The Justice Department also accused Monica Elfriede Witt, 39, of betraying former colleagues in the U.S. intelligence community by feeding details about their personal and professional lives to Iran. Four hackers linked to the Iranian government, used that information to target the intelligence workers online.

Witt had been on the FBI's radar before she defected after she attended an Iranian conference and appeared in anti-American videos. She was warned about her activities, but told agents that she would not provide sensitive information about her work if she returned to Iran.
Witt remains at large in Iran, as do the four hackers.
