United Airlines barred two women from boarding a flight and required a child to change into a dress after a gate agent decided the leggings they were wearing were inappropriate. That set off waves of anger on social media, with users criticizing what they called an intrusive, sexist policy, but the airline maintained its support for the gate agent’s decision.

Three scientists working at New York University's Langone  are accused of passing research funded by the National Institutes of Health to a rival research institute funded by the Chinese government. For one scientist, his compensation was pre-paid grad school tuition.

US. Attorney for Manhattan said the university was "inviting and paying for foxes in the henhouse."

The three men were allegedly working for United Imaging, a Chinese company working in MRI research, and the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, a research backed by the Chinese government. So how does that pay? Zhu allegedly received $400,000 cash from a United Imaging executive who prosecutors said was a co-conspirator in the plot. Yang and Li were both granted free travel. Yang also had his grad school tuition paid for, while United paid for Li's rent in New York City.

NYU caught them taking pictures of the school's equipment and discussing private information with their Chinese contacts. Zhu allegedly admitted working as a "co-lead investigator" for United Imaging since 2011 after he was confronted by the university.

Image result for war in Yemen

The leader of Yemen's Shiite rebels has lashed out at the United States, accusing it of fomenting the war in his country through a Saudi-led coalition and claim that U.S.-ally Israel is participating in attacks in Yemen.
Al-Houthi's remarks were published in a front-page interview with the Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar, dressed in a traditional Yemeni robe with a dagger worn on a belt.
Al-Houthi alleges the U.S. saw the war in Yemen "as a golden opportunity to seek control" of the region.
He says Saud Arabia and the United Arab Emirates  two top nations in the coalition against his rebels, known as Houthis wouldn't have "entered the war ... without American desire and supervision."
Do we have a hand in it?   Just a thought.
