A reward has climbed to $190,000 in the search for the killer of a veteran Baltimore police detective who was fatally shot in the head while on duty, the FBI said.

Det. Sean Suiter, a married father of five and an 18-year veteran with the Baltimore Police, was conducting a follow-up to a homicide investigation around 5 p.m. Wednesday when he saw a man engaging in suspicious activity, police said.

Suiter approached the man and was shot in the head shortly after, police said.

Suiter's partner was nearby and rushed over to render aid, police said.

This criminal must be caught immediately. Some one may have seen something, heard something or know whoever did this.   Just a thought.

The three UCLA basketball players detained in China last week have admitted to shoplifting and thanked President Donald Trump for helping them return to the U.S.

The players are suspended indefinitely as UCLA reviews the situation, Coach Steve Alford said, adding they will not travel with the team and will not suit up for home games.

On Nov. 7, police arrived at their hotel to interview students and search bags and the team bus, and once the three suspects were identified, they were escorted to a police station.

On Nov. 8, the students were released on bail and surrendered their passports......

The American Heart Association has changed the definition of hypertension from 140/90 to the newly revised 130/80.

It will also disproportionately affect younger people by tripling the number of men under 45 and doubling the number of women under 45 with the diagnosis.

Medication will be recommended for patients with previous cardiovascular events, such as heart attack, or significant cardiovascular risk factors determined by factors such as age, blood tests and having other medical conditions that increase risk of heart attack.

The study authors recommend lifestyle changes, including exercise, diet modifications and weight loss, as the first step to reducing high blood pressure.

A 26-year-old Uber driver said a prosecutor hit him, belittled him and threatened him during a ride.

Jody Warner worked as a prosecutor for the Dallas County District Attorney's Office until Monday. The incident that led to her dismissal happened after Shaun Platt picked her up outside a Dallas pub.

Driver said she was drunk, and he refused to continue driving her home when she wouldn't give him directions.  He recorded some of their conversation.

District Attorney Faith Johnson contacted Uber's driver and apologized to him for Warner's actions. Johnson later said, after reviewing and investigating, Warner's conduct was counter to the department's core principle of integrity, and it won't be tolerated. A bad day.

On October 29th, Juli was photographed giving the middle finger to President Trump's motorcade during a weekend bike ride in Virginia.

The photo quickly went viral. The Monday after the photo was taken, she told her employer, government contractor, that she was the cyclist pictured. The next day, she was fired, as she was in violation of the company's social media policy.
