Supposed...

Image result for help someone

Society has great expectations for people to have the perfect house, bake perfect cookies and show off the perfect family in Christmas letters, Facebook posts and Instagram photos.

But look more closely at the people you meet, and you might see expressions of grief and depression.
Sometimes, Christmas is a holiday some people would rather escape from it.

“Christmas is normally a family time. It might be the only time for some people to get together,”
“If you are grieving over the death of a loved one,  happy people only remind you of what you no longer have.” Many similar examples....

Look deep in your heart for what made the previous memorable Christmas?

Did you help someone in need... gave a gift to an orphan child, helped in a shelter for the homeless, participated in activities in the church to help the elderly?

Do that and you'll have the best Christmas ever.   Just a thought.

Takeda and Lilly pharmaceuticals, face a total of $9 billion in punitive damages after a U.S. jury decided that the drug makers hid the Cancer risks of their Actos diabetes drug.

Actos entered the U.S. in 1999 with global sales $3.85 billion, at its peak. The drug's Patent expired in 2011, with global sales weakening. Regulators in Europe suspended sales of the drug in 2011, citing cancer risks.

Christopher Webber, a French national and first non-Japanese "chief operating officer" said he had taken the job partly because "Takeda's ethical commitments".

Abbott and Takeda's joint venture (TAP) later dissolved, pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiring with Doctors to bill government insurers for free samples. TAP agreed to pay $875 million to resolve criminal and civil liabilities related to the case, which involved Lupron, a prostate-cancer drug.

Why do some Pharmaceutical companies:
*Conspire with doctors to scam the tax payer?
*Hide the side effect such as "cancer" from the patients?
*Mmark their medications to the highest price in USA knowing that thousands are unable to obtain it?

Simple, it's the laws that give them free hand. It is a free pricing of medications but it is not a free market to import the medication independently. Simple to solve.  Just a thought.

The former director of the pharmacy at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for stealing about $58,000 worth of cancer-fighting drugs and other prescription medicines and selling them for cash, Federal prosecutors said.

He was employed by the hospital pharmacy from 1968 until his arrest, pleaded guilty to distributing wholesale prescription drugs without a license.

A former pharmacy school classmate arranged to buy drugs and recorded telephone conversations, according to court papers. In sentencing, Judge Allen G. Schwartz of United States District Court in Manhattan said that Mr. harry Morelli had abused his position of trust with the hospital.

Gerald B. Appel, director of clinical nephrology, wrote: ''In the 20 years I have known Mr. Morelli, I have never seen any part of his character that is not upstanding and honorable. I can say that my colleagues feel the same way about Mr. Morelli.''

In addition to being sentenced to prison, fined $30,000, pay $58,500 in restitution and gave up his license.  [Summery.. NYT

A Canadian woman was sentenced to 90 days in jail, no driving for 10 years and 240 hours of community service  for causing two deaths in 2010 when she stopped her car on a Quebec highway to help a group of ducklings crossing the road. Emma Czornobaj convicted of two counts each of criminal negligence and dangerous driving causing death.

According to media reports, Czornobaj stopped her car abruptly in the passing lane of a highway south of Montreal when she saw the ducklings. The motorcycle behind Czornobaj’s car then crashed into her vehicle, killing the 50-year-old man driving the motorcycle and his 16-year-old daughter.

“I just wanted to pick all these ducklings up and put them in my car,” Czornobaj had testified during her trial. “I know it was a mistake.”

She could have been killed with the ducks and others by this action.             Just a thought.

How the court decides the case.......

The case rests on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which makes it illegal to "fail or refuse to hire or to discharge any individual ... because of such individual's race, color, religion, sex, or national origin."

Abercrombie famously employs a "Look Policy" that lays out in exacting detail what its "sales models" can wear when they're helping customers or folding clothes on the sales floor. Back in 2008, Samantha Elauf, who was 17 at the time, went in for a sales model position in one location in Oklahoma.

The assistant manager gave her solid marks on the three "competencies" required for the job of model at one of the stores: "outgoing and promotes diversity," "sophistication and aspiration" and "appearance and sense of style. But she never got a call. She had her own outfit.
  • Heathe Cooke, the assistant store manager who interviewed Elauf, said  "I think it says in the handbook you can't wear hats

Many have the same "Look Policy" and that is the case.    Just a thought.

Kevin Trudeau claims that there are "all-natural cures" for serious illnesses including cancer, herpes, arthritis, AIDS, acid reflux disease, in his book " Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You To Know About ".   He accused gov. agencies and others of conspiring to suppress low cost, common remedies to diseases, including cancer.

According to his book covers, several of his books have been number one on the New York Times bestseller list.

Trudeau, 51, convicted on violating a federal court order  prohibited him from making misleading infomercials and misrepresenting his weight-loss books (32,000 times).

District Judge Ronald Guzman blasted Trudeau, saying that for decades he "steadfastly attempted to cheat others for his own personal gain."  "deceitful to the core."

Prosecutors said they could think of no comparable case of someone cheating people so brazenly.  Calling him an "uncontrollable huckster".  Trudeau said he has “sincere remorse” for it all.

Oddly enough, he looked honest, sincere, and believable........  I didn't believe his claims at all specially cure for Cancer.    Just a thought

Belfies...*

A young generation of women is discovering a new brand of sexy in the most unlikely of places: their grandmothers' underwear drawers.

"When I walk into a lingerie store, I'm always like, 'O.K., which drawer in here is for the grannies?' "

That preference led to found Ten Undies, a line with a cult following that sells cotton full-bottom bikinis, boy shorts and high-waist briefs not unlike the kind immortalized in "Bridget Jones's Diary." ("Hello, mommy.") Ten's wares are comfortable and practical, to be sure, but that's hardly the only draw.

"Within millennial and Generation Y consumer groups, it's considered cool to be wearing full-bottom underwear," said an apparel analyst. "Thongs have had their moment."

There has been a "shift in the business."  The trend is in line with the higher-waist and roomier pants styles that have dominated fashion this season.  Young women are embracing "granny panties" and not just for laundry day.

Besides sales, the "feminist underwear" has inspired countless Instagram "belfies" (that's a selfie for the behind). Customers eager to show off their feminist convictions as well as their pert posteriors.

"Most lingerie is designed to appeal to a man,". This is underwear you wear totally for you. Maybe no one will see it, or maybe you'll put it up on Instagram to share with everyone you know."

"I think there's a widespread misconception that men are into pearl thong, lace contraptions. "To be honest, men are into girls in T-shirts and white underwear."

It all depends.         Just a thought.

Image result for couple on the pool

The children of a real-estate agent setting up for an open house over the weekend found a naked couple in one of the bedrooms.
A 22-year-old woman and 17-year-old boy ran from the home after the elementary school age children ran to their father, who also saw the two people on the floor, according to a police report.

Briana Moore, of Helena, Mont., is accused of felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal mischief in connection with the break-in of the vacant home. Moore told police that her companion, whose name was not released because he is being charged as a juvenile, kicked in the rear door of the home to get inside, according to charging documents.

The door was kicked in and split down the middle, the real-estate agent's lockbox was damaged and a window screen was torn, the documents said. The damage was estimated to be less than $1.500.

I think that the charges are exaggerated, and the back door is of poor quality.
But one can dream of a good life.          Just a thought.

Blame...

Image result for one person with many enemies

Russia's ambassador to Turkey was assassinated at an Ankara art exhibit by a lone Turkish gunman.    There was no immediate confirmation about the gunman's motives or possible affiliations but several groups in the region feel powerful animosity toward Russia, Turkey and a host of other countries.
In neighboring Syria and throughout the Muslim world, people are outraged at Russia for helping the Syrian Government's attack on Aleppo.
Another enemy of both Russia and Turkey is ISIS. The two countries have cooperated in fits and starts over the last year against the cult-like terror group, which controls whole swaths of Syria. ISIS has carried out a wave of murderous bombings in Turkey this year.
Turkey also has fought a long-running, low-level domestic war against elements of its Kurdish population, which lives primarily in Turkey's east.
Turkey's President was at first enraged with Russia when it entered the war, and Turkey shot down a Russian warplane over its airspace in June.
But he made a turnaround with Russia almost immediately after the coup attempt. On the night of the coup, Russia tipped off Erdogan about unusual movements among Turkish military units potentially saving the Turkish president's life.

More to this story.....  All are involved, all are responsible for what happened in Syria. All to be blamed for the death of many.... I mean all.     Just a thought.

Image result for snake pets

A Kentucky pastor who starred in a reality show about snake-handling in church has died -- of a snakebite.

Snake-handling preacher Jamie Coots, who never backed away from his beliefs despite derision, criminal charges and excruciating bites, died Saturday night after being bitten by a rattlesnake during a church service.

Coots was charged about six years ago with illegally buying and selling snakes and fined more than $6,000. Last year, he was charged in Tennessee with transporting poisonous snakes he had bought in Alabama.

"To me that's what God taught me to be about," he said. "I'm not telling people to handle snakes."
I don't think that violating the law, make snakes a church signature and focus are  the right direction.

Comment: I am not judging no one but sorry for what happened. Just a thought.
