Unfavorable..

A new Washington Post-ABC News poll showed. Fifty-six percent of Americans share an unfavorable impression of Clinton--the highest it’s ever been in her nearly 20 years of public service.
Were it not for Trump, Clinton would reign as the least popular major-party presidential nominee in modern American history, the Washington Post noted. According to the poll, business mogul has a 63 percent unfavorable rating among Americans.
Clinton’s negative image is essentially equal to Donald Trump’s. Thirty-eight percent of registered voters have a favorable impression of Clinton, while 59 percent do not. That’s on par with Trump’s 37/60 split.
The poll found that unfavorable ratings are increasing among three demographics that have traditionally supported Clinton. Among women, her favorables dropped from 54 percent to 45 percent; with Hispanics, 71 to 55 percent; and among liberals, her ratings fell from 76 to 63 percent.
It may be difficult to isolate why Clinton has experienced such a significant decline since the conclusion of the Democratic convention in Philadelphia, the Washington Post said, but it speculated that recent headlines questioning the Clinton Foundation’s ties to the State Department and her noticeable absence on the campaign trail probably haven’t helped her.

The Indianapolis woman quoted biblical Scripture in court documents. She said that a parent who "spares the rod, spoils the child," and: "Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you strike him with a rod, he will not die. If you strike him with the rod, you will save his soul from Sheol."
The woman, a Burmese refugee granted political asylum in the U.S., also is pointing to cultural differences as part of her defense.
Kin Park Thaing said she stopped her son from dangerous behavior that would have seriously harmed his 3-year-old sister. Thaing, documents say, hit both children with a plastic coat hanger before telling them to pray for forgiveness.
A doctor at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health found 36 bruises across the boy's back, thigh and left arm. Three photographs submitted to the court show deep purple lines striping the boy's back and several welts on his arm. The boy has one curved bruise on his cheek in the shape of a hook on a coat hanger.

Hiding behind the bible is the first stupid act she did. She should live the Bible first before using  punishment. After jail, she should be sent back to Burma.  Just a thought.

A Trip....

Three Canadian cruise ship passengers were charged with drug smuggling after Sydney police allegedly found 95 kilograms of cocaine in their cabin luggage.
The haul valued at 31 million Australian dollars  was the largest seizure in Australia of narcotics carried by passengers of a cruise ship or airliner, Australian Border Force commander Tim Fitzgerald said.
Three individuals were arrested after the MS Sea Princess, operated by California-based Princess Cruises, berthed in Sydney.  They face potential life sentences if convicted.
The trio had boarded the ship at the British port city of Southampton. Police are investigating whether they boarded with the drugs or sourced them from one of several South American ports the ship visited on its way to Australia.
U.S. Homelands Security and the Canada Border Services identify the three as "high-risk passengers" among the 1,800 on board. More may be on board.
Fitzgerald alleged 35 kilograms of cocaine were found in suitcases in a cabin the women shared and 60 kilograms of the drug were found in the man's luggage in a separate cabin.
Men always carry the heavy load.    Just a thought.

The world has had lots to say about 15 French towns that banned the full-body burkini swimsuit at a time when France and places of worship are the target of terrorist attacks.”
All this seems a clear violation not only of the free exercise of religion guaranteed by the Constitution, but also of the liberté and Ã©galitéthe French supposedly hold dear. It is important to remember that these burkini bans, like the 2010 French law outlawing headgear that covers the face, are not so different from American garb laws wielded against Catholics in the not-so-distant past.
In one of America’s first culture wars, Protestants attacked Catholicism as un-Christian, immoral and anti-democratic. In the late 19th century, several states passed laws, obviously aimed at Catholic nuns, that forbade teachers from wearing clerical garb in public schools. Today, such statutes remain on the books in Pennsylvania and Nebraska.
France and the United States both separated church and state in an effort to avoid revisiting the bloody religious wars of early modern Europe.  The French sought to undercut the power of religious institutions, fashioning a secular nation in which almost all expressions of religion were exiled to the private realm of home and church. It is fine to be Catholic, Protestant or Jewish, but you could not exercise that liberty in school, on city streets or at the beach.  More issues are involved, yet I agree.
