Members..

In what sounds like a broken record, the Democratic Party hit another historic low in a national poll this week.

Thirty percent of voters nationwide questioned in a Quinnipiac University survey said they have a favorable opinion of the Democratic Party, and 54% say they hold an unfavorable opinion.

This is the lowest favorability rating for the Democratic party since the Quinnipiac University Poll began asking voters this question in 2008," the survey's release noted.

The Democratic Party has been in the political wilderness since last year's elections. Not only did the party lose control of the White House and Senate and failed to win back the House majority, but Republicans made gains among Black, Hispanic and younger voters, all traditional members of the Democratic Party's base.

What is the Democratic party stands for today? Anti ICE, Free Stuff, Tax everyone, Inflation, open borders, ?

  •  Speech or material that is patently offensive and lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.
  •  A specific and universally unprotected form of illegal content.

Pardon..

As per a recent X post by the U.S. Attorney General, 8 out of 37 people whose death penalties were already commuted by Joe Biden in the last term are now being sent over to the prison in Colorado, where they will be punished in a manner suitable to the severity of their crimes.
She called out the culprits as no less than monsters before sentencing them to a period of imprisonment without parole.
Her post on X read as “Joe Biden’s last-minute commutations of death row prisoners are a stain on our justice system and a betrayal of the families of victims. I was honored to host some of those families here at @TheJusticeDept in May.
We have begun transferring the monsters Biden commuted to Supermax prisons, where they will spend the rest of their lives in conditions that match their egregious crimes.

Difference..

In his first night back on air in nearly a week, Kimmel addressed the uproar his earlier commentary had unleashed.

"It was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man. I don't think there's anything funny about it," the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host told viewers, his voice choking with emotion, moments after taking the stage.
"Nor was it my intention to blame any specific group for the actions of what was obviously a deeply disturbed individual - that was really the opposite of the point I was trying to make," Kimmel, 57, added.
Disney, parent company of the ABC network that airs his show, halted its production on September 17, two days after Kimmel said in his opening monologue that President Donald Trump's supporters were eager to characterize Kirk's accused assassin "as anything other than one of them" and accused them of trying to "score political points" from his killing.

These two statements seem like a world of difference. Is this the freedom of speech?

Sim Farms..

In September 2025, the U.S. Secret Service discovered and dismantled a network of "SIM farms" in the New York City area
. Authorities found hundreds of servers and over 100,000 SIM cards across multiple sites, including abandoned apartments, located within a 35-mile radius of the United Nations headquarters.
The investigation was prompted by a series of anonymous telephonic threats made to high-level U.S. government officials, including some with the Secret Service and the White House.
  • The sites were found within 35 miles of the United Nations, and the raid occurred shortly before world leaders gathered for the annual U.N. General Assembly.
  • The Secret Service and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) seized more than 300 SIM servers and over 100,000 active SIM cards, calling it one of the most sweeping communications threats ever found on U.S. soil.
  • The devices were used to conduct anonymous, encrypted communications. Officials believe the network was used by foreign governments, drug cartels, human trafficking rings, and other criminal organizations.

Red Vienna..

Instead of tackling the real problem—too little housing supply—socialist Assemblyman and mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani (D-Astoria) wants to double down on government control.
His answer is the so-called “Vienna Plan,” a reheated socialist fantasy that’s flopped everywhere it’s been tried.
Modeled on 1930s “Red Vienna,” the scheme calls for massive city-owned housing complexes where government, not private builders, acts as the landlord. In theory, that means below-market rents. In reality, it means higher taxes, longer waitlists, rampant favoritism, and units going to the well-connected rather than the needy.
Mamdani tosses around buzzwords like “community land trusts,” “social housing,” and “community ownership” as if they’re magic spells. But this isn’t new. From Moscow to Beijing to Vienna, we’ve seen how this ends: shortages, decay, and failure.
Just a "Red Vienna" thought.

Kirk..

President Donald Trump and his supporters are paying tribute to conservative activist Charlie Kirk, whose assassination has intensified political tensions in the United States.

The 63,400-seat State Farm Stadium in Arizona quickly filled up Sunday with people dressed in red, white and blue, as organizers suggested.

Send Me..

Early Sunday, people started lining up outside the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., for the memorial for right-wing activist Charlie Kirk

People wore "I am Charlie Kirk" hats and T-shirts, "Make America Great Again" baseball caps and carried American flags.

The line extended for over a mile outside the stadium, according to Glendale Police.

In the Image these words "Here I am Lord Send me"

ها أنا ذا يا رب أرسلني إشعياء 6: 8

Mourning..

Tens of thousands of mourners, many in red MAGA hats, gathered around Glendale, Arizona's State Farm Stadium in Sunday's pre-dawn hours to honor slain conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk.

Washington emptied much of the executive branch for the event, with President Donald Trump, Vice-President JD Vance, and others.

The event rates the top-level security usually reserved for events like the Super Bowl, with Homeland Security, FBI, local police and even TSA manning the magnetometers, a security level ramped up after police arrested a man with a gun and knife inside the arena the day before the event.

“It’s a watershed moment in American history. We haven’t had something happen like this since the assassination of John F. Kennedy or Martin Luther King. So I knew it was going to be a moment in history,” says Richard Guerra, whose wife, Haeven Guerra, is a senior field representative for the Kirk-founded political group Turning Point USA. “He wasn’t a politician. He wasn’t a president. This was a normal guy who spoke the truth and now it’s started a revival.”

Fired..

Political analyst Matthew Dowd has been fired from MSNBC for his suggestion that Charlie Kirk’s own “hateful thoughts” and “awful words” contributed to his shooting.
MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler criticized Dowd’s remarks, emphasizing the network’s disapproval. Both Dowd and MSNBC have issued apologies, acknowledging the seriousness of the situation.
Kutler stated, “Dowd’s comments as inappropriate, insensitive and unacceptable.” She added, “We apologize for his statements, as has he. There is no place for violence in America, political or otherwise.”
Following Kirk’s death, conservative activists have sought to identify those making offensive comments, leading to one University of Mississippi staffer being fired for insensitive online remarks.  Just a thought.

Former MSNBC senior political analyst Matthew Dowd had a few choice words for his ex-colleagues now.

“Not one person has said anything about me,” Dowd said during an appearance on Katie Couric’s podcast on Friday. “They’ve all gone out of their way to say, isn’t this horrible what happened to Jimmy Kimmel? Including Morning Joe [Scarborough] and Mika [Brzezinski], who went after me after the show, basically saying they were glad I was terminated.”

He continued, calling out his former MSNBC team for what he believes to be their seemingly selective outrage. “Today, they’re talking about how awful it is for our country that somebody like Jimmy Kimmel can’t say what he said and he is indefinitely suspended and not an iota about what their employer just did to another employee,” Dowd explained.  Just a thought.

Decline..

Jeff Zients, former President Joe Biden’s chief of staff during the second half of his White House tenure, admitted to Biden’s decline during a closed-doors meeting with the House Oversight Committee on Thursday.

He also revealed that Hunter Biden — the former president’s son who was convicted on tax and gun charges, but was absolved of responsibility for his crimes when his father pardoned him in December of last year — participated in the administration’s pardon process despite his lack of a formal position within it.

On in the final day of his presidency, Biden also handed out blanket pardons to other family members, including his brother James, his sister Valerie, his brother Francis, and their spouses.

Fitness..

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro told ESPN host Stephen A. Smith that former Vice President Kamala Harris is "going to have to answer" for why she never raised any concerns to the public over former President Joe Biden's health in the lead-up to the 2024 election.

I haven't read the former vice president's book, and she's going to have to answer to how she was in the room and yet never said anything publicly," Shapiro told Smith.

Shapiro said he was "extremely vocal" about Biden’s fitness to run again and argued that Biden’s staff failed to fully brief him on his dwindling chances of victory.

An immigration judge ordered that a former pro-Palestinian activist at Columbia University, Mahmoud Khalil, be deported to either Algeria or Syria for not disclosing certain information on his green card application.
“This Court further finds that the Respondent understood the consequences and that the candid disclosure of his affiliations might lead to an additional line of questioning and the ultimate denial of his application for conditional permanent residency.
This Court finds that Respondent’s lack of candor on his I-485 was not an oversight by an uninformed, uneducated applicant. This Court finds that the Respondent’s purposeful, non-disclosure was not a misrepresentation by another which imputed consequences to the Respondent,” immigration judge Jamee Comans said in her order.

U.S. President Donald Trump is due to leave Windsor Castle, where he and his wife Melania received the royal treatment on Wednesday — as the U.S. leader's historic state visit to the U.K. turns to more serious business matters.

On Thursday, Trump will be heading to Chequers, the official country residence of Prime Minister Keir Starmer, for trade and geopolitical talks with the British leader and delegations from the U.K. and U.S. Melania Trump is due to stay on at Windsor Castle this morning.

Tom..

Tom Donlon, the former interim police commissioner, is escalating his efforts to bring attention to claims of corruption and misconduct at the police department.

In a letter dated Tuesday, he referred the mayor and other former top police brass for criminal investigation to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Donlon is demanding that federal action be taken to “dismantle a criminal conspiracy inside the NYPD and restore integrity to law enforcement in New York City,” according to a statement.
The referral comes just weeks after Donlon filed a $10 million lawsuit against the mayor and a former police official claiming they tried to defame his character following allegations of corruption at City Hall and the NYPD.

Rabbi..

Speaking last week on Facebook, against the backdrop of his synagogue’s main sanctuary, Rabbi Chaim Steinmetz issued a blunt message about the New York City mayoral race: “The Mamdani policy initiatives will destroy New York City.”

In the face of what he views as an imminent “catastrophe” if mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani is elected, Steinmetz believes the candidate polling second, former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, can win.

Steinmetz, who leads Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun, a Modern Orthodox synagogue on the Upper East Side, said the video marked a sharp departure from his typical policy of avoiding politics in shul.

Woe..

In his opening monologue for Monday night’s show, Kimmel suggested that Tyler Robinson, the man accused of fatally shooting Kirk last week at a Utah university, was aligned with President Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again movement.

“The MAGA Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said.

Hours earlier, FCC Chair Brendan Carr told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson......

“This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney. We can do this the easy way or the hard way,” Carr said. “These companies can find ways to take action on Kimmel, or there is going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.

Decline..

Wholesale prices unexpectedly declined by 0.1% in August 2025, marking the first decrease since April, according to a Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) report.

This drop was led by a significant fall in unprocessed energy materials, with crude petroleum prices decreasing 2.8%. While the overall producer price index (PPI) fell, core producer prices, excluding volatile food and energy costs, rose by 0.3% in August.
The decline could ease pressure for rate hikes, but the increase in core prices suggests underlying inflation concerns persist.

Not Supporting..

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has not officially endorsed Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee for New York City mayor.

Despite meeting with Mamdani in early September 2025, Schumer has publicly stated only that they had a "good meeting" and would "keep talking".

This decision has prompted criticism from progressive Democrats, including Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who called on the party to rally behind its nominee.

Mamdani is a democratic socialist whose platform includes tax increases on the wealthy, free public transportation, and a rent freeze. This agenda is seen as a potential liability by moderate Democrats concerned about appearing too far left, particularly in competitive elections outside of New York.

  • Mamdani has been a vocal critic of Israel's military campaign in Gaza, describing it as a "genocide". This contrasts with Schumer and other establishment Democrats who are staunch supporters of Israel.
  • Mamdani's campaign pledges to tax the wealthy have reportedly alarmed deep-pocketed donors, potentially influencing establishment Democrats like Schumer.

Raid..

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted a raid on a Hyundai plant in Georgia in September 2025, where hundreds of individuals, many of them undocumented, were detained. The incident has brought attention to immigration enforcement at U.S. workplaces, but it does not mean that ICE "rates" Hyundai for immigrants. ICE does not publish lists rating vehicle manufacturers based on their employment of undocumented immigrants.
  • The raid: In one of the largest single-site immigration operations in the agency's history, federal and local law enforcement agents raided a Hyundai-LG battery plant construction site in Ellabell, Georgia, in early September 2025..

If..

The United States government has already collected tens of billions of dollars from President Donald Trump’s “reciprocal tariffs.”

But that money could end up being refunded if the Supreme Court agrees with lower courts that many of the levies on imports from other countries are illegal.

Bessent’s request to have the Supreme Court quickly rule the tariffs are legal, and not wait until next summer, the normal time frame for such a decision.

The sooner the court rules, the less money the government could be required to refund if a majority of justices find the tariffs to be illegal.

Refunding tariffs is not an unprecedented situation for the U.S. government. But the amount of tariffs the Trump administration could be forced to refund is.
