Democratic convention delegates may have been justified in picking whichever ticket seemed most likely to bring victory in November.

Biden made a mistake in seeking a second term. And he made another by refusing to bow out swiftly once the debate made his unfitness plain. But on Sunday, he did the best he could to reverse some of the damage. It’s now incumbent on Harris — and all other Democrats — to put together a campaign strong enough to reverse the rest.

Two things can be simultaneously true. First, that Joe Biden has been dragged, against his will, to this decision. And second, that he has shown true leadership, putting to one side his ego and ambition for the greater good.

There are very real questions surrounding VP Kamala Harris. If all these other figures could see the country was being led by a very unsteady president, mentally and physically, wouldn’t Harris be able to see that too?

 In what possible scenario is President Biden’s vice president not directly involved in the cover-up? Or, perhaps even more embarrassing, was she so detached from the day-to-day activities at the highest level of the administration that she simply hadn’t noticed?

Maybe they’ll start revealing, just how deeply she was involved in the cover-up of Biden’s decline. How she allowed the fraud to be perpetrated on the public, for her own political future.

Six House Democrats voted with Republicans to condemn the Biden administration and, Vice President Kamala Harris for their failure to secure the United States’ southern border with Mexico and the skyrocketing levels of illegal immigration into the country under their administration.

The document first outlined Harris’s prescribed role in addressing the border crisis and noted, among other items, that the former Border Patrol chief had never been spoken to by either Harris or Joe Biden.

Six individuals are being charged with absentee ballot fraud. They were all volunteers for the campaign of Yu-Ching James Pai, a candidate in the June 2023 Primary for City County District 20.

Five out of six defendants surrendered to authorities Thursday morning to face charges in an election fraud case linked to last year's New York City Council primary in Flushing, Queens.

As alleged in this case, the defendants went to the Board of Elections and filed fraudulent absentee ballot applications on behalf of 23 voters they had never met," said said District Attorney Melinda Katz,

Only Social Security eats a higher percentage of the budget – for now. In less than 30 years, interest on the debt will likely become our largest expenditure.

The White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre brushed away calls from Republicans that President Biden should resign from the presidency following his decision to bow out of the 2024 presidential race.

“I think that’s ridiculous, seriously,” Jean-Pierre said during an appearance on ABC’s “The View” on Tuesday. “The president decided to not run for reelection. That’s it. That’s all he decided on. He wants to continue to do the work.”

Jean-Pierre said Biden’s accomplishments over the last three years give her confidence “he can continue to do the work” before he leaves the White House in January.

Joe Biden said on Wednesday he is "passing the torch to a new generation" as he explained his abrupt departure from the 2024 presidential race to Americans for the first time on Wednesday night, in an Oval Office address capping over 50 years in politics.

Biden, 81, rebuffed weeks of pressure from Democrats to step aside after a disastrous debate performance on June 27, saying at one point that only the "Lord Almighty" could convince him to go.

Joe Biden's campaign has been thrust into a pressure cooker of doubt, as panic and worry about his election chances pour in from the highest levels of the Democratic party.

In recent days, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have all reportedly expressed concerns in private to Mr Biden about his candidacy.

Even his former running mate, former President Barack Obama, has reportedly said Mr Biden's chances of winning the election have greatly diminished.

A 6 July letter from high-ranking congressman Jamie Raskin was made public on Thursday, where the Maryland representative compared the president to a baseball pitcher whose arm has "tired out".

Mr Biden, 81, has repeatedly and defiantly declared he is "not going anywhere", urging his party to refocus on the task of defeating Donald Trump.

But the calls to exit are nearing a crescendo as Democratic politicians, donors and voters speak out against the president's candidacy. just a thought.

The Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi privately told President Joe Biden in a recent conversation that polling shows that the president cannot defeat Donald Trump and that Biden could destroy Democrats’ chances of winning the House in November if he continues seeking a second term, according to four sources briefed on the call.

The former federal prosecutor who oversaw more than 200 cases related to protests of former President Trump’s 2017 inauguration has been accused of withholding evidence, according to an attorney disciplinary claim.

Jennifer Kerkhoff Muyskens, formerly of the D.C. district attorney’s office, allegedly attempted to hide from the court that Project Veritas was the source of the video evidence by removing references to the group and editing out some clips, which it argued deprived the defendants of a complete legal defense.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) is calling on President Joe Biden to “pass the torch” and step aside from the 2024 presidential race.

Schiff, who is expected to become California’s next senator, is a former House Intelligence Committee chair. He is also a close ally of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has been privately fielding caucus concerns about Biden.
