Hate..

“I used to think that hate could be defeated, it could be wiped out. But I learned a long time ago, it can’t. It only hides. It hides. It hides under the rocks. And given any oxygen at all, it comes out. It’s a minority view, but it comes out, and it comes out raging. And it’s been given too much oxygen in the last four, five, seven, 10 years, and it has seen itself, whether it was – I remember spending time at the – you know, going to the – you know, the Tree of Life Synagogue, speaking with the – just –,” Biden said; he didn’t finish the sentence, instead continuing, “It just is amazing these things are happening – happening in America.”

Some are feeding it.  Just a thought.

Run..

Since the start of the war, several Ukrainian officials have blamed their difficulty repelling Russia's invasion on the slow pace of deliveries by its allies.

However, in the Time report, an unnamed source identified as a close aide to President of Ukraine highlighted a different problem.

"We don't have the men to use them," the aide said in reference to the Western weapons.

Although Ukraine doesn't give public figures, Western estimates suggest it has suffered in excess of 100,000 casualties.

Time's report also noted that Ukraine is struggling to stop combat-age men fleeing the country.

Under the current legal regime of martial law, Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 are not supposed to leave.

However, 6,100 fighting-age men have been caught trying to leave with forged documents, State Border Guard spokesman Andriy Demchenko told AFP in September.

Desire for war placed by the leaders on their people who really don't want it.

Rabbi..

President Joe Biden’s speech to political donors on Wednesday night was interrupted by a member of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), a Jewish-led anti-Zionist organization that has been calling for an end to Israel’s genocidal war on Palestinians in Gaza.

Rabbi Jessica Rosenberg, stood up during Biden’s remarks and called on the president to demand that the Israeli government stop its relentless indiscriminate bombing campaign against Palestinians in Gaza.
“Mr. President, if you care about Jewish people then, as a Rabbi, I need you to call for a ceasefire now in Gaza,” Rosenberg said.
The Jewish faith Rabbi is demanding ceasefire, but that is too much for the Christian faith president who just wants a pause, a temporary pause of indiscriminate death, and misery.  God Help us all.

Leadership..

A group of 335 foreign passport holders - including British nationals - were also allowed to leave via the Rafah crossing, officials said..

Rafah is expected to continue opening for limited time periods to let foreign nationals and injured civilians leave.

The lists of those allowed to cross will be agreed between Egypt and Israel, with embassies from the relevant countries being informed in advance to ensure they can prepare to receive their citizens, Western officials say.

There are about 7,000 dual nationals in Gaza.

US President Joe Biden said that thanks to "concerted American leadership, safe passage for wounded Palestinians and foreign nationals has started".

American leadership......Where is it ????

Blood..

Protesters calling for a ceasefire in Gaza repeatedly interrupted Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s testimony before the Senate Appropriations Committee on Tuesday. The protesters derailed proceedings at least five times, staggering their interjections throughout his opening statement.

“Blinken, you have blood on your hands! Murderer!” one protester yelled amid calls for a ceasefire from others in the room. “From Palestine to Mexico all the walls have got to go,” the demonstrators chanted.

Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin appeared before the Appropriations Committee to discuss the Biden administration’s $105 billion national security funding request, which includes aid for both Israel and Ukraine. Blinken addressed the interruptions during his remarks to the committee.

“I also hear, very much, the passions expressed in this room and outside this room,” Blinken said in response. “All of us are committed to the protection of civilian life. All of us know the suffering that is taking place as we speak. All of us are determined to see it end.”                  Do we really know?
