Stinging Progress...

Dealing the White House a stinging setback, a government advisory panel overwhelmingly rejected a plan to give Pfizer COVID-19 booster shots across the board, and instead endorsed the extra vaccine dose only for those who are 65 or older or run a high risk of severe disease.

The twin votes represented a heavy blow to the Biden administration’s sweeping effort, announced a month ago.

That would help salvage part of the White House’s campaign but would still be a huge step back from the far-reaching proposal to offer third shots.

The White House sought to frame the action as progress.

Every failure is a huge progress similar to leaving Afghanistan.

Just a progressive thought

Wrongdoing...

A federal grand jury returned an indictment sought by Special Counsel John Durham against Democratic lawyer Michael Sussmann, accusing him of lying to the FBI during the Russia investigation.

The indictment accuses Sussmann of hiding the fact that he was working for the Clinton campaign while pushing for an investigation into then-candidate Donald Trump's ties to Russia in 2016.

Durham was appointed to investigate the origins of the Russia probe, with indictment coming just weeks before the five-year statute of limitations was set to expire.

Sussmann, whose firm had previously represented the Democratic National Committee, told the FBI's James Baker in Sep. 2019 that he was not representing a client when pushing for an investigation into Trump.

Bullying...

Two dozen state attorneys general are threatening legal action against the federal government over a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for private businesses.

A week after President Joe Biden announced that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration will create a rule that will require roughly 80 million workers nationwide to be vaccinated or undergo weekly testing, 24 Republican state attorneys general warned in a letter addressed to the president that they "will seek every available legal option" if the mandate is implemented.

The letter, which called the plan "disastrous and counterproductive" and debated its legality, was signed by the attorneys general of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming.

Are we crossing the line of Democracy into Dictatorship for a cause?

Don't Buy it .

Fake it till you make a good money out of it.

The Pfizer's Covid-Vaccine Booster is rejected. This is why.

Dr. Michael Kurilla, an infectious disease specialist, said he suspected Pfizer went too far in extrapolating data on older people to a younger population.

He noted that Pfizer's studies relied heavily on measurements of antibodies, without looking at other important aspects of immune response

Philip Krause, deputy director of the FDA's, noted that Pfizer was using data that had not been reviewed by experts.

Immunologists point out that long-lasting protection comes from immune cells called B-cells and T-cells, and Pfizer only presented data on antibody response.

Even Pfizer said its vaccine was still very much preventing severe disease, hospitalizations and deaths in the US, with an effectiveness of more than 90%. The company argued that this might not last much longer, but many members of VRBPAC didn't buy it.

Missing...

Police in Utah have released body camera images of Gabby Petito, a 22-year-old woman who went missing during a cross-country road trip.

The photos show Petito and her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, talking to an officer after her 2012 Ford Transit had been pulled over by Moab police.

Police labeled the incident as a "mental/emotional break" rather than a domestic assault, according to the report.

Petito was last seen leaving a hotel in Utah with Laundrie on Aug. 24. The next day, she spoke to her mother, Nichole Schmidt, informing her that their next stops would be Grand Teton and Yellowstone.  "She sounded good and excited to continue her trip."

After all, Laundrie took Petito's car without her or her permission and left. That's what will put him at odd with the police, Gabby's Family and himself for a long time.  Just a thought.

Popular...

This is the worst act ever seen in our lives aside of the various wars. What was done to our grand parents by this administration in NYS basically for financial gains and fake popularity.

When Assemblyman Ron Kim refused to stay silent about Andrew Cuomo's #Covid19 nursing home scandal, the (then) governor called him & said "I'll destroy you!"

 Just a thought.

Resoundingly...

An influential Food and Drug Administration advisory committee on  resoundingly rejected a plan to administer booster shots of Pfizer and BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine to the general public, saying they needed more data.
The panel, however, could still recommend the shots for older populations. Scientists continued debating the need for a third dose of the vaccines for older populations after their initial vote, leaving open the possibility of other votes.
Sorry to the big Yak politicians who couldn't do any thing right to begin with but ready and ignorantly pushing  for the Covid Vaccines Booster.
Just an "embarrassed politicians" thought
