Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.

The people of North Korea deserve all the efforts and attempts for peace.

It's obviously important to Australians to make sure their koala population is closely tracked when the suckers live in forests and climb trees all the time, with drones.

A new project from Queensland University used a drone equipped with a heat-sensing camera, then ran the footage through a deep learning model trained to look for koala-like heat signatures.
It's similar in some ways to an earlier project from in which dugongs — endangered sea cows were counted along the shore via aerial imagery and machine learning. But this is considerably harder.
Drones are everywhere now.  Just a thought.

Vietnam...

This image brings back memories. After years of fighting and killing in Vietnam, the US military left.

The outcome of war was devastations of a country, the people, and the thousands of Americans who lost their lives, missing in action, in pain and suffering for years.

Then comes peace, and what a wonderful outcome. Trump chose Hanoi Vietnam, the city bombed extensively, as the meeting place for world peace.

This image is a reminder of the last hours of the war, but also the beginning of the peace process. Let us continue the path of Peace.

WW may be unable to reach their 2020 revenue target if consumers continued to aggressively shift towards using a digital-only subscription over the traditional digital + studio membership, which commands a high monthly fee,” wrote J.P. Morgan.
The company noticed that change with the young people. Thus the market share dropped dramatically.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that he supports Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s proposal to raise billions of dollars for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority through congestion pricing.

In a joint statement, the two Democratic leaders also proposed overhauling the MTA’s management structure and raising additional revenues for the transit authority through proposed new taxes on internet and marijuana sales.
More taxes to add to more waste in every aspect of the 168 Billions budget of the State.

a man and a woman looking at the camera: Harford County Del. Mary Ann Lisanti speaks with Del. Steve Johnson as she stands to leave the House Chamber on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019. The Maryland House of Delegates voted to censure Lisanti, a Democrat, for using a racial slur. The vote was 136-0, with Lisanti excused from voting.
The House of Delegates publicly censured Harford County Delegate Mary Ann Lisanti for her use of a racial slur, which members said "brought dishonor to the entire General Assembly of Maryland.

After the vote, the Democrat said she would not resign, despite calls for her to do so by House leaders, the governor, the Legislative Black Caucus and constituents.
Lisanti told a fellow lawmaker that when he helped a candidate in Prince George's County, he was knocking on doors in a "n__- district."
"I recognize that some have rushed to judgment without information and freely jumped on the bandwagon of condemnation - likely for their own political expediency," Lisanti told reporters.

A man called for jury duty in Hawaii shouted "He is guilty! He is guilty!" outside a courtroom.
"He was trying to get out of jury duty," Attorney Jason Burks told the court. "Obviously, he took a very improper approach to it."
Maldonado had been called as a possible juror in a Honolulu misdemeanor assault trial. The court was about to begin jury selection when lawyers alerted Judge Edward Kubo that a potential juror was creating a disturbance outside.
Kubo declared a mistrial, finding the man's disturbance had affected the 44 other potential jurors, according to the judge's order.
The judge ordered Maldonado's arrest on a contempt charge and set a $10,000 cash bail. Maldonado spent the night in jail and appeared before Kubo on Wednesday morning.
