Democratic House lawmakers and former government officials are characterizing recent comments from one of their rising stars, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, as antisemitic.

The exceptional rebuke comes after Omar, a freshman member of Congress, suggested on Twitter that her colleagues have been paid off to support Israel. She later "unequivocally apologize[d]," saying, "anti-Semitism is real.

Ilhan Omar apologized under pressure from the House Democratic leadership, who issued a unified statement condemning her comments.

This scammer picked the WRONG senior citizen to go after.

94-year-old William Webster of Washington D.C. and his wife, Lynda, got a call about four years ago from a man who threatened to set their house on fire or shoot them if they didn't pay him thousands of dollars.

What the guy didn't realize is . . . William is a LEGEND in law enforcement. He's the only person who's ever been the director of the FBI and the director of the CIA.

So when he got the first scam call, he immediately called the FBI. And when the guy kept calling, William and Lynda kept alerting the FBI . . . and Lynda even had an agent listen in on one of the calls.

The FBI traced the calls to a 29-year-old man in Jamaica named Keniel Thomas. And when he flew to New York in 2017 to visit a friend, he was instantly arrested.

He's been in jail ever since, and he was just sentenced to six years in prison for trying to scam the Websters and successfully scamming several other elderly people. He'll be deported to Jamaica when his sentence is over.

Deligitimizes...

Bloomingdale’s has issued an apology for selling a shirt that read “fake news,” and it has since removed the item from the department store’s floor.
Bloomingdale’s initially pulled the item from its sales floor after it was brought to their attention, by a reporter for local New York City station WPIX, that the article of clothing “delegitimizes” journalists.
Allison Kaden was shopping at a Bloomingdale’s store in White Plains, New York when she saw a mannequin wearing a shirt depicting the phrase, “Fake News.” The phrase was made popular by President Donald Trump, and is used to dismiss reporting that is characterized as false or sensational in nature.
It delegitimizes hard working journalists who bring REAL news to their communities.
Comment: I disagree with  "Delegitimizes" any body, it actually repeat what the news media say all the time. This one is better than the other, sensational episodes, and incomplete ones.

Howard Schultz: I am seriously thinking of running for president. I will run as a centrist independent, outside of the two-party system.  We're living at a most-fragile time, both parties are consistently not doing what's necessary on behalf of the American people and are engaged, every single day, in revenge politics.

Schultz’s flirtations with an independent bid has left many Democrats fuming. It appears that he was flirting the idea of running as a Democrate and found it....
