Elite ...?

United Kingdom Independence Party Leader Nigel Farage has a message for Donald Trump: The United Kingdom's problems are factors worse than those in the United States. But if his comments  are any indication, he is not too fond of Hillary Clinton.

We literally have lost our sovereignty, lost our borders, lost our ability," Farage told CNN's Richard Quest in an interview from Brussels, Belgium.

"Well, the problem that you've got in the U.S. is illegal immigration. Our problem is legal immigration to half a billion people."

"I think Trump will be better for us than Barack Obama's been."

Asked whether he would like Hillary Clinton or prefer to sit out this early in the general election, Farage was unequivocal.
"There is nothing on Earth that could persuade me ever to vote for Hillary Clinton," Farage said.
Quest followed up, "You sure you don't want to think about that for a second?"
"No, absolutely not," Farage said, laughing. "I mean she represents the pinnacle elite. It’s almost as if she feels she has this sort of divine right to have that job."

An Oregon woman fatally shot a home intruder after she found him in a bedroom.
The woman, 33, said she had returned home with her two children when she found a stranger in one of her child's bedrooms. She was armed with a handgun and fired at least one shot at the man.  Officers found the man, 59, dead at the scene.

Local defense attorney Edward Kroll says a homeowner has the right to defend themselves in most cases.   He says, if the homeowner reasonably believes an intruder is in their house to commit a crime, they can use deadly force to protect themselves.

Exceptions come into play when the intruder is a known to the homeowner and, perhaps, has been invited over before.  On a twist, neighbors said squatters have been coming to this house in the past.

Police can response very quickly, that is what they do, so step out of the house and call the police.          Just a thought.

Spells...*!

Related image
Two recently deciphered papyri were discovered and translated, dated to the third century. The spells are written in Greek, a language widely used in Egypt at the time.
Ancient, magical spells of love, subjugation and sex,  may sound like a "Game of Thrones" episode, but these evildoings are also found on two recently deciphered papyri from Egypt.
One spell invokes the gods to "burn the heart" of a woman until she loves the spell caster.  Another spell, targeted at a male, uses a series of magical words to "subject" him, forcing him to do whatever the caster wants.
The two spells were not targeted at a specific person, only need to insert the name of the person being targeted sort of like an ancient "Mad Libs."
Archaeologists Bernard Grenfell and Arthur Hunt discovered the spells in Oxyrhynchus, Egypt, more than 100 years ago, among a haul of hundreds of thousands of papyri.   Many of them are now owned by the Egypt Exploration Society and are housed and studied at the University of Oxford in England.
Nothing new under the Sun.   Been used since. Just a thought.

Rich...*!

Famed defense attorney F. Lee Bailey, whose legion of high-profile cases includes the O.J. Simpson murder trial, has filed for bankruptcy in Maine in an effort to discharge an IRS debt of more than $5 million.

Debts to the IRS aren't normally discharged in bankruptcy proceedings, but the 83-year-old Bailey said that they can be if one abides by certain conditions.

Bailey served as one of Simpson's attorneys during the former NFL star's 1995 trial, which ended in his acquittal in the 1994 murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman.

Bailey in the 1960s secured a reversal of Dr. Sam Sheppard's conviction in the murder of his pregnant wife, and an acquittal at his second trial.

Bailey was disbarred in Florida in 2001 over mishandling client assets, and Massachusetts issued a reciprocal disbarment in 2003. Bailey's bid to gain admission to the Maine bar failed in 2014, when the Maine Supreme Judicial Court reversed a judge's ruling that would have allowed him to practice law in Maine.

Hi Ya Doin..

In 2006, Hogan was having sex with Clem while being videotaped without his knowledge or consent.  On The Howard Stern Show, Hogan told Stern that he had slept with Heather with Bubba Clem's blessing and his encouragement. Hogan was so burnt-out from the trauma of his coming divorce that he finally gave in to the "relentless" come-ons from Heather who "kept going down that road".

Hogan said that he knew Clems had "an alternative lifestyle" and that he had stopped by their house "just to say hello" when Heather tempted him.

Bubba testified that he burned the video to a DVD, wrote "Hogan" on it, and put it in a desk drawer.
On October 4, 2012, Gawker editor AJ Daulerio published a two minute extract from the 30-minute video, including 10 seconds of explicit sexual activity.

Hogan originally sued Gawker for copyright infringement in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, seeking a temporary injunction. U.S. District Judge James D. Whittemore denied the motion, ruling that the validity of the copyright was in question, and that given the degree to which Hogan had already put his own private life into the public arena, the publication of the video might be protected by fair use.
Hogan dismissed the federal case and sued Gawker in Florida state court. There, his request for an injunction was granted by Judge Pamela Campbell in 2013. Gawker announced that it would not comply with the part of the court order requiring the removal of the post and associated commentary because it deemed the order "risible and contemptuous of centuries of First Amendment jurisprudence." Gawker removed the video itself, but linked readers to another site hosting the video.
The injunction was quickly stayed on appeal, and was denied in 2014 by the appeals court, which ruled that under the circumstances it was a prior restraint on speech that was unconstitutional under the First Amendment. Gawker tried to get Judge Campbell to dismiss the case based on that ruling, but the case went to trial.

Don't say Hello, it will be shown on YouTube and the likes. Just a thought.

To Stay or Not

The rest of the European Union nations are looking at the possibility of a British departure from the bloc with disbelief, trepidation and anguish. But they are also preparing to retaliate.
If Britons leaves the European Union, they can expect a tough and unforgiving response, with capitals across the Continent intent on deterring other countries from following the British example, European officials and analysts said.
In other words, Britain will be made to suffer for its choice.
With other issues pressing, including Greek debt, the migrant crisis and terrorism, the largest and most powerful European nations will want clarity, and are not likely to tolerate a long period of post-referendum confusion.
“In is in — out is out,” the powerful German finance minister, Wolfgang Schäuble, told Spiegel magazine. “I hope and believe that the British will ultimately decide against Brexit. The withdrawal of Britain would be a heavy loss for Europe.”
The president of the European Council, Donald Tusk, spoke apocalyptically about a British exit, or “Brexit,” to the German tabloid Bild. He said all members of the European Union would suffer, as would the postwar structure of Europe that had kept the peace.

Britain will stay and will fix the migrant issue.  Just a thought.

Dry Crust .......

Ahedge fund manager was found dead this morning from an apparent suicide, according to a New York City police official. Sanjay Valvani was discovered dead at his residence in Brooklyn, the city police official told ABC News. Valvani was 44.  Police found a note at the apartment.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan accused him of persuading a former senior Food and Drug Administration official to give him confidential information about generic drug approvals, according to a statement last week from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
Prosecutors claimed Valvani illegally earned about $25 million from 2005 through 2011. Valvani pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
Valvani's lawyers, Barry Berke and Eric Tirschwell, told ABC News in a statement today that their client's death was "a horrible tragedy that is difficult to comprehend."
"Sanjay Valvani was a loving father, husband, son and brother and committed friend, colleague and mentor," they said. "We hope for the sake of his family and his memory that it will not be forgotten that the charges against him were only unproven accusations and he had always maintained his innocence."
Better a dry crust with peace and quiet ......than a house full of feasting, with strife.    Just a thought.

Leslie...!

Nationally recognized pathologist Dr. Michael Baden, told jurors in the murder trial that Leslie Neulander died from multiple blunt force injuries to the head and brain.
The fatal blows to her skull ripped through the skin down to the bone, which had fractured. The irregular edges of the wound signified that it was not from a sharp object and the result of multiple blows, he opined.

Baden also estimated that Leslie Neulander died between 4:15 a.m. and 5:15 a.m., Sept. 17, 2012. That is hours before her daughter called 911 at 8:25 a.m. after her father alerted her that her mother was injured.

Dr. Robert Neulander, 63, the prominent obstetrician-gynecologist, has been sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for murdering his wife, Leslie, in 2012.

"As I will one day be in front of God to be judged, I would not and did not take a life," Neulander said, shackled in jail garb. "I love my wife Leslie everyday, and I mourn her now and forever."

Nothing can be hidden.  Just a thought.

No money-II 2

The woman at the center of the Hulk Hogan sex tape trial told how she discovered her husband had filmed her. She was 'upset' after he showed her the explicit video. Clem admitted she had sex with Hogan on three occasions.

The court had earlier heard that they had an open marriage and Clem's husband encouraged her to have other sexual partners.

Under examination by Gawker's lawyers Clem said other sexual encounters with different men had been recorded by her husband at their home.
She denied any knowledge the tape being leaked to New York based Gawker.

Clem said she asked her husband to destroy the tape which was made in 2005.

The former wife of the DJ spoke in a faltering voice as she was asked what took place, replying 'a sex act' when talking about the second encounter in a hotel.
Clem said that as far as she was aware her husband never told Hogan that he had filmed him having sex.

Now what was the $140 Millions for?

A sex scandal involving Oakland police has spread to other area police departments, with the woman at the center of it claiming she had sex with two dozen current and former officers in five cities.

The woman, a Richmond resident who was not named, tells the East Bay Times that she slept with three of the 24 officers before she turned 18 last August.

She also tells that two Oakland officers provided her confidential police information, including tips on scheduled anti-prostitution stings. In addition, she says a retired Oakland police captain in his 80s paid $250 to have sex with her in a motel.

Oakland Police Chief Sean Whent stepped down and gave no reason for his resignation.

The woman, who began selling herself on the streets of Richmond at age 12 and eventually ended up in Oakland's International Boulevard, a well known sex-trafficking hub, said many officers knew she was underage.

She said the first officer she met was Oakland Police Officer. The two began a sexual relationship after he defended her from a pimp.
"They were my protectors," she said. "I didn't have a pimp at the time. It did make me feel safer, having them."                    Source: reported by AP-Oakland 6-12-2016- ABC.

Would it be a scandal if it happened in Paris?  Prosecutors, Judges, Bailiffs, Lawyers, Defendants,

My-Lan...*!

Open borders with Canada will reduce Medicine cost  in USA by 60%
Social Securities didn't increase in the past eight years. Inflation is around 0% in the same period. Retirees and disabled are the one who use the medicine the most supported by Medicare and Medicaid.

In the last six months, Mylan raised prices more than 20% on 24 of its products, and more than 100% on seven products, according to Wells Fargo analyst David Maris.

This year, Mylan made "a 542 % increase for ursodiol, a generic medication used to treat gallstones, a 444 percent increase in metoclopramide, used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and gastroparesis, and a 400%  increase in dicyclomine, [treat irritable bowel syndrome]. Mylan also raised the price of tolterodine by 56 percent in 2016," Maris said.

The company increased the price of Epi-Pen, its largest product, by 15 percent. The analyst noted the price increases could come at a cost to patients and impact their reputation to shareholders.

In the past year, Valeant, Turing and other pharmaceutical companies have faced scrutiny over their pricing methodology. But what did the Senate do about it?

If you need a medication, someone will quickly increase the prices by 5000%.   Just a thought.

Do Tell...*!

What do women want?
Online dating apps have been faulted for putting too much emphasis on looks alone. But finding a partner with long-term appeal, it appears that the best way for a man to attract a woman is through the gift of gab.

Researcher found men's prowess as storytellers is a big factor in their perceived status and attractiveness to the opposite sex.
For women, a man's storytelling ability factored greatly in their assessment of whether he would be a more appealing long-term match. For men, while storytelling ability in women seemed to show signs of greater intelligence, it did not translate to them being viewed a more attractive match.
So, while a man is seen as being both more powerful and attractive if he can deliver a good yarn, a woman may not have the same luxury.

That is one piece to start.... the rest is so difficult and complicated.   Just a thought.

Beach...*!

A perfect picture day on the beach. The sun is out, not too hot of a day to have the sun shines where it didn't do before. People walking, running, bicycling, with some cloths and without some cloths. Jut a wonderful day all around.

And in the spirit of Cassius Clay, this idiot decided to jump up and down threatening another. You know
"fly like butterfly and sting like a bee." It was just jumps.

Then he gave the police an urgent fake message " he is running ... " the young policeman didn't buy the hoopla.

It was a perfect and beautiful day, ....enjo it.    Just enjoy it.

Healthcare...

After she arrived in the emergency room, Soto was seen only by a nurse and a physician's assistant until she went into cardiac arrest several hours later, according to lawyer Sanford Rubenstein who filed the suit in Brooklyn Supreme Court.

Grisel Soto, 47, spent her last hours alive strapped to a gurney and prescribed anti-psychotic medication, while the lethal infection raged in her brain. The nurse mistakenly thought Soto was suffering an overdose of synthetic marijuana while she had a form of meningitis.

The husband slammed Coney Island Hospital with a lawsuit alleging that his wife was misdiagnosed as emotionally disturbed or suffering from an illegal drug reaction by "careless" and "negligent" medical staff.

“NYC Health + Hospitals is committed to patient safety and ensuring the best possible care and experience for every patient and their family. It's a new day with an entirely new leadership team at Coney Island Hospital,” said spokeswoman Jennifer Bender.

The State Health Department has cited the hospital for six violations of the federal code of patient rights involving the use of restraint and emergency room services.

Minutes of Horror

"None of the witnesses interviewed described the mother as anything but attentive to her children," The DA said, adding that the mother had "turned away for a few seconds to attend to another one of her young children," when the boy entered the enclosure.

Additionally, the zoo itself won't be facing any charges, the prosecutor said.
"The zoo did the right thing when they took immediate action to save the life of a young child," Deters' said.

Nine minutes of Horror to all including the Zoo officials who took action in such a short period of time and saved the boy.   Just a thought.

Ukraine's intelligence agency SBU said it has thwarted a plot to attack soccer's European Championships in France by arresting a Frenchman who wanted to cross from Ukraine into the European Union armed to the teeth.

The SBU followed the man since December and allowed him to purchase five machine guns, two rocket propelled grenades and other weapons before he was arrested on the border between Ukraine and Poland last month.

The SBU said he was driven by ultra-nationalist views and planned 15 attacks on bridges, railways and other pieces of infrastructure for Euro 2016 that will be held in France.

In the wake of the terrorist attacks by extremists in recent years in France and Belgium, and with the wars in Iraq, Syrian and Afghanistan fueling an almost unprecedented influx of refugees and migrants to the continent, far-right and Euroskeptic parties have made sweeping gains.

Last month, far-right politicians gained many seats in the European Parliament triggering what one prime minister called a political "earthquake" by those who want to slash the powers of the European Union or abolish it altogether.

It is political Earthquake here also in the USA.  Just a thought.

The Game...*!

Lori Conley was arrested on charges of murder and child endangering. She was arraigned in Franklin County Municipal Court and jailed, pending her release on bond. Court records don't name an attorney for her.

Police say Conley gave the baby the Benadryl to put him to sleep.

Authorities say the 43-year-old Conley was baby-sitting eight toddlers and infants at her Reynoldsburg, Ohio, home when she found Haddix Mulkey unresponsive. He died at a Columbus hospital.

An Ohio baby sitter accused of giving an 8-month-old boy a fatal dose of Benadryl has been given a $750,000 bond and told to have no contact with children and no unsupervised contact with her own children.

Police say the charges were delayed until toxicology tests confirmed the baby received a fatal dose of the over-the-counter allergy drug.

For children and adults, this over the Counter Medication is a serious drug, similar to many other Over the Counters or RX prescription medication.                       Just a thought

Border Crossings!!

A smuggling network has managed to sneak illegal immigrants from Middle Eastern terrorism hotbeds straight to the doorstep of the U.S., including helping one Afghan who authorities say was part of an attack plot in North America.

Immigration officials have identified at least a dozen Middle Eastern men smuggled into the Western Hemisphere by a Brazilian-based network that connected them with Mexicans who guided them to the U.S. border, according to internal government documents reviewed by The Washington Times.

Those smuggled included Palestinians, Pakistanis and the Afghan man who Homeland Security officials said had family ties to the Taliban and was “involved in a plot to conduct an attack in the U.S. and/or Canada.” He is in custody.

Some of the men handled by the smuggling network were nabbed before they reached the U.S., but others made it into the country. The Afghan man was part of a group of six from “special-interest countries.”
The group, guided by two Mexicans employed by the smuggling network, crawled under the border fence in Arizona before being detected by border surveillance, according to the documents, which were obtained by Rep. Duncan Hunter, California Republican.

Illegal border crossing  ... has a terrible effect on society and will consume large part of the budget.
So what America to do? And who is going to do it?    Just a thought

Roots- Part 2

Many come to the USA to work and to make money. Yet my Niece legally immigrated, came to learn, educate her self and study a new culture. After a year or so she decided to go back. The learning is so valuable and so is the plan for her future. The following song explained where the heart is and help me understand my roots.

My country's skies are bluer than the ocean
And sunlight beams on clover leaf and pine
But other lands have sunlight too and clover
And skies are everywhere as blue as mine
Oh hear my song, oh God of all the nations
A song of peace for their land and for mine
